It's pretty safe to say that the $9000 level will be broken before the end of the next week, to be somewhat on the safe side. It could even happen today or tomorrow, but I always prefer to take a wide time frame for my predictions. Interesting will be whether or not we get the much waited for correction between $9000-$10,000 this year. It makes sense to a certain extent, but if we look at the time we're in, it also makes sense for the market to rush up further. It's impossible to get hold of this market and to properly say anything of value, because this market does what it does regardless of the general opinion. I will take some profits as soon as the market hits $9500 in order to anticipate on a potential correction.

It is safe to assure that it is going to happen next week and by the end of this year i think the range of bitcoin will be at $9000 to $10000 real quick, at first i didn't expect this to happen so fast but i can say that is is possible to happen yea. it's not a wild guesses because it can be achieved by them easily,
just look at it right now,from early 2017ish we're around $1000 and right now we're nearly $9000.
moving upward or downward for more than $1000 is not a hard thing for them to do it,
just like a few weeks ago we're moving from $6000 towards $7000 level and breaking our all new highs.

no matter what will happen in the future just focus on our run right now,
the whales already showed us a sign by pumping BCH and then dump it,afterwards the problem that happened to tether that lead them lost for more than a millions dollar to unauthorities Bitcoin address.

the $10,000 is one of those prices that will be like a big barrier against the rally. we will probably see another one of those double, triple tops where price keeps going up to test the resistance and fails breaking it so it drops down and then tests the support and after a while test again to fail.

but I think we will see this happening within 2017. it is going to be a little scary though, I must admit. that is a gigantic rise that is nearly unbelievable. from $1000 to $10,000 in one year, although not unheard of.
but the demand is there, you can't do anything about it.

Crossing my finger that it will happen next week. I can't still move on with the early transactions that I did ranging from $2,300 - $4,000. I was in a hurry by that time so I don't have choice well this is also how traders will feel sorry for selling early. Just let us see if there is any dip at the mid of this week.

Bitcoin price keeps rising, $8614 on bitfinex, 8625 on Gdax and $8622 on cmc, suddenly rise from $8400 a few hours ago.
At the current point, bitcoin may reach $9000 today or tomorrow if there's no correction, which mean $10,000 by the end of the year isn't impossible at all. Well, anything can happen in few hours, moreover, in few weeks, don't expect too much and don't be pessimistic.
Bitcoin may get corrected, but won't fall too far without any big problem, we can consider $7000 as the bottom line for now.

The price has risen by almost $100 since you posted this, a couple of hours ago. There seems to be absolutely no stopping Bitcoin. The thing which worries me is that the price seems to be driven by momentum. What will happen when the tide changes?

   Some high ranked members here were convinced in $9000 long ago, they just
waited their prediction to come to life. That is happening, and that only means
that we need to have more faith in bitcoin.
   Newbies, some other members tried to spread rumors here about the end of
bitcoin. I never trusted in that. BCH team and supporters were saying many
things in past weeks against bitcoin, their plan is not realized.
   Bitcoin is heading to much higher price then $9000, it is just a first step.

Its above $8600 now so its doable that at the end of this month we are heading to $9000. Weekends usually is slow for traders, but this week its an exception. Wonder why who pushing it now, although all altcoins as well are going green. I don't see any correction happening, the $8500 mental barrier is already broken, so there no point of cashing it out right now as the sentiments are very bullish. Bitcoin amaze us with every pumps it does every single week. It is not that it is made by bitcoin itself but the people who puts their money into these digital currency.

With the popularity of bitcoin and it's volatility, I think it is possible that bitcoin will hit $10 000 even before the year ends. That will make a $800 bitcoin price of January 2017, to a more than $10000 bitcoin price in January of 2018, that is like 2.5 times of the price after a year.

Since $8,500 has been broken we would need just next week to actually cross $9,000! Now I am on the side of speculators that said before end of this year bitcoin may be above $10,000 because any moment from now we would break that level If the current momentum is sustain.  The movement of price from below $3,000 in September  Was a great one and though we have some corrections along the lines bitcoin price has remained steadfast.

Very surprised to see this amount of progress or raise in the price of bitcoin. When i started using bitcoin forum in September end it was just 4300$. And only after 2 months its price has been doubled. It is just too overwhelming. And yeah i think it will reach 9000$ by the next week .

I think there is frantic institutional buying so they have the actual asset before the CME futures trading starts up. We might even overshoot $10,000.

You have got your heart in the right place, but your maths is all screwed up. An increase from $800 to $10,000 is not 2.5 times price increase.  It is a whopping 12.5x price increase. In terms of percentage, it is 1150% increase. I don't think any asset class in history has given these kind of returns.

Sure! Come to think of it: as btc is not $8500, it needs to go up less than 10% to reach 9 thousand dollars. This won't even look like a big change, actually. But, on the other hand, what about the price correction phenomenon? Is not the current price too high and it needs to be adjusted to the real offer?
Even you are saying about the correction but just suppose it will happen when btc reaches $9500, not $9k. I guess this rapid growth of price is not actually something we should fell great about, for the dump always comes after the pump.
