New Crypto Exchange for India as Popularity Continues to Increase

A new exchange called Coinome has been launched in India. The exchange is backed by BillDesk, one of India’s leading payment services companies.

With its headquarters in Mumbai, Coinome promises to be the first crypto-platform in the country to allow instant onboarding via electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) verification. This will be attractive for new investors as it would mean they could start trading immediately.

India according to me, has the best potential for Bitcoin, once the scaling issues has been sorted out. India has one of the highest unemployment

stats and some of the poorest people on this planet. They NEED cheaper transaction fees and fast global micro transactions. They have huge

informal markets and will benefit a lot from Bitcoin, WHEN the scaling issues have been resolved.  Wink

What you have to offer will be beneficial not only for India. It would be beneficial for all. But I do not see the possible solutions to the decline in prices for microtransactions. The miners do not want to lose profits. And the worst part is that they don't want to negotiate. We've all seen their attack on bitcoin.

It is indeed a solution for micro-transactions. How? All the big exchanges in India provide service of internal transfer where person can send money to other users without actually creating transaction on Blockchain. It is simple account-to-account transaction with zero fees and instant transfer.
When more and more exchanges open in a country, larger userbase which currently using international wallets or exchange solutions will turn to local exchanges. When majority is using such exchanges, exchanges can come mainstream as a payment gateway with option of internal transfer and people can use that as merchant service and send/receive payment instantly.

This is 6th major Bitcoin Trading platform in India in my knowledge, hence Bitcoin gonna have bright future in India. Welcome to next superpower of Crypto world.  Cheesy

It's intriguing to know that adoption will be the true fight-back against the choice of the RBI to ban Bitcoins in India (not that it has been banned, but going by the recent slur of media articles and certain representative's thoughts on Bitcoin, it seems like they aren't interested in having Bitcoin legalized which gets me worried a bit). With a prominent and popular payment provider in India (Billdesk) backing a cryptocurrency exchange and several other onboarding startups in the cryptocurrency sphere, it makes a good combination against any efforts by the central bank to restrict Bitcoins or altcoins as a form of payment processing. I hope that Bitcoins, if they have to be regulated, be regulated but not banned or restricted for used in the country. There's already a lot of investors pouring into the market and it seems highly likely that more exchanges like coinome pop up and regulators are forced to just regulate but not restrict. Overall, I'm glad it's going the right way.

India is a big country that has a strong and big potential for the expansion of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. However, the government of India has not yet decided on how to treat Bitcoin and the regulations they should be imposing for its citizens who are dealing with Bitcoin. It is a little bit sad that politicians are getting the way that is why there is a delay. we are all hoping that eventually India would be openings its doors for the legalization of Bitcoin and the many businesses s that can crop up related unto it. Bitcoin is representing a good opportunity they should not miss. They should look at Japan and how that country is able to use Bitcoin to its big advantage.

India as such is risk averse, especially on things relating to monetary policy. The Reserve Bank would not like to jump in approve something new and fancy. A committee has been established and they are looking into it. Eventually, policy will be framed basis its recommendations.
