I am thinking of ordering from www.antminerdistribution.com

Has anyone used these before?

I want to make sure they're legit and they seem to have been around since 2015.

Can anyone recommend them before I spend my hard earned here.

Actually they've been around since 2014, selling Antminers from S1 to S4 back then, including the liquid-cooled C1.
And although I haven't ever ordered from them, they do seem pretty legit, having up-to-date stock status and not claiming to have S9s in stock (which would be outrageous).

It seems I was actually looking on a spoof site www.antminereurope.com which is an exact replica but they have S9s in stock for a cheap price.

Looks like a scam to me although they accept payment by bank transfer into a Dutch account?

Thats weird because I only saw bitcoin on their payment method/s tab. Most scam sites only accepts bitcoin because its irreversible.



Its most likely that they're copying antminer distribution that's why different payment methods are also stated in their site. Well if you compare the two sites, they look really similar except on some parts that antminereurope fails to copy e.g. facebook page and payment methods

It was supposed to give a name of a real person to contact, not a legal entity.

I do not know any real person who would, even for business reasons, change his or her last name to Antminer ). Sjorn can otherwise look like a Dutch name )

Yeah it is probably not the full name of the owner as you can also put the name of your company/business/organization so in this case, it is their company/business name?

Lol what a name. For me its completely bogus. So that alone is a red flag for me that the website is a potential scam. I will stay out and look for other legit sellers out there. Right now there are too many scam site and its really hard to distinguished them and unless you bought it from the seller itself.

I've actually spoke to them about this to clear things up and they confirmed that it was a "fake" name filled out by their webmaster for a test back then. Please note that I didn't bought anything from this site so let's just compare the things about them.

Reasons to trust:

• Has reviews (Try searching using google and viewing their facebook page)
• Registered in EU - Verify their VAT number: NL - 858250470B01
• Their office address is publicly viewable

Reasons to doubt:

• Fake registrant name
• Reversible payment methods are not accepted anymore (reason below)

To be honest, out of all the resellers I've seen, they are the most reasonable (e.g. not overpriced) and legit looking so good luck on finding another one that can exceed them. Better buy from the main site.

Reason:

Unfortunally we don’t work with Paypal or credit cards. This is largely due to repeated cases where someone pays for the hardware with PayPal, receives it and then fraudulently complains to PayPal or their credit card company that they never received the goods. All too often PayPal sides with the fraudulent buyer and this is understandably too risky for us as a company. Besides that the manufacturer Bitmain also doesn't accept Paypal or creditcards.
