I am newer to mining but have mined a few coins.
Tried to mine bitcoin gold yesterday and haven't received any payouts yet.  Its been over 24 hours
Using cuda miner on a Gtx1080ti on the east coast pool on mine.pool.gold.
I heard it was down for a bit when first launched but haven't heard anything since.
Not sure if I am doing something wrong

Be careful.

I've seen a lot of reports about the official BTCG Linked wallet containing malicious tools that steal your bitcoin.

Always doubt.

Anytime you are going to claim any forked coins from your private keys, you need to send any bitcoin balance off of them first to a new wallet with new private keys.

@Bugatti73
Yes, it is possible to mine BTG now.

As someone mentioned above, mining on btgpool.pro is an option, and they have a useful guide to get started.
