I kept my BTC pre-fork (both) in an Electrum Wallet.

Now I transferred BTC to Ledger Nano S. Electrum is now empty.

How do I get BCH and BTG to the Nano S?
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

To get your BCH: Download Electron Cash (a Electrum fork for Bitcoin Cash), import your old Electrum wallet and send your BCH to your Nano S Bitcoin Gold address.
To get your BTG: the easiest way I found to get your BTG from an Electrum wallet is by following this guide[1] (requires an android device).

That previous link is not ledger specific, you can download a ledger specific app here https://ledger.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005174789-How-to-install-and-use-Bitcoin-Cash-BCH-with-Ledger

If you sent the BTC to your nano, it's likely that somebody replayed the transaction onto the BCH network, unless your ledger was using a segeit address.

As far as I know until now you can only claim your bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cash has a ready wallet like electrum cash. Just log in with the same private key by importing it as you had on your ledger Nano S. Your BCH would automatically flash in your wallet.

For BTG they don't have any wallet as such yet to import private keys. You need to wait for a few months while we see a wallet by the core team of BTG.

That's actually impossible... BCH has full 2-way replay protection... BTC transactions are not valid on BCH network... BCH transactions are not valid on BTC network.

errrr... I really hope you meant Bitcoin CASH address!! haha... Man, so many "Bitcoins"... gold, cash and now diamond... getting confusing! Tongue

In any case, I'm pretty sure that you CAN'T accidentally send to a BTG address... they changed the address format, so it SHOULD get rejected.

So, now that I transferred a range of coins to my Ledger there are some coins left:

FTC
ETP
BLOCK
ARDR
FCT
DCR
SHIFt
SC
ANT
XBY
STRAT
INCNT

What would be the safest way to store those?

If I download all the wallets, what happens if my PC gets stolen or my house burns down?
