Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Seems like a scam site. Im from Norway, and cannot find any information that fits the bill about the person that owns the domain. Recommend to stay away for now.

I’m pretty sure bitmaindeposit.com is a scam. I fell for it about 2 weeks ago. It said I will receive my miner on Dec 3rd. But I haven’t gotten any updates at all. “Peter Williams”  has emailed me to assure me they are a real company and I will receive my order but the website was only started on the Nov. 11th and none of the Facebook links work. There is another website with very similar look and pricing started only a couple of days before it also. I’ll update if I get my order but as of now I think I was scammed.

I would really watch out for sites like these. Even just one antminer is a big investment you should not take lightly. Regardless of how rich or affluent you are, imagine all the hungry children in asia you could feed with that amount.

Anyway, just a tip, you should always try calling their advertised office number first. If you can get a hold of someone speak to them and try to ask them questions. Ask them for proof of business registration and the like. Legit companies will be able to provide you with what you need.

I definitely should have called the number before I ordered. I hurried through the payment process because I had locked in my order the bitcoin was up then it dropped a lot before I sent the coin. So I was getting a good deal. Afte I bought I got a really bad feeling so the next day I called. Phone number not in service. He actually emailed me back but I think that was to keep the scam going as long as possible. He got me for about $1600 usd. A lesson learned the hard way.
I have tried to get in touch with him for the past couple of days with no response.

From the experiences shared, it seems they are scammers.

One should be careful with all these unknown sites.

I don't know how people still fall for these scams.  It clearly states on the Bitmain site that there are no authorized distributors or retailers.  If I were buying an antminer from anywhere besides Bitmain directly it would have to be from someplace that takes credit cards.
