I saw it today and it freeked my out, it is incredible because it is now on the top #6 of coinmarketcap, what do you think guys?
We are going to see bitcoin gold have the same story than Bitcoin Cash or it would not?
maybe it had a lot of issues on the past regarding to MyBitcoinGoldWallet, but it seems that now it is on the top #6 with more than 7 billion dollars of marketcapitalization, maybe a lot of people will start to invest right now that it is more "valuable"
What do you think? I would not even put a single dollar in here, but i am really curious about this.

Bitcoin gold ? it's just another coin created based on Bitcoin.
it got an attention because it came from Bitcoin no more than that.
basically in my view it has 0 value,just like another coin that will be created in the next few days later on.
we can call it 'Bitcoin Diamond',
at best it will become a pump and dump coin and then will be gone forever.
who want to use it while we have 'Bitcoin' as our main card ?

I think Bitcoin Gold is going to die a slow death, although it might be pumped every now and then.
Someone stated that the CPU mining is not really safe long-term either.

The coin is now listed in coinmarketcap and I think it will cause many people who had called it scam will be interested in Bitcoin Gold and will invest in it.
What happened to Bitcoin Cash can happen to Btcoin Gold too. So I think the price can reach 2000 dollar like Bitcoin Cash. No one wants to miss this opportunity. It causes the supply to be low and the price will rise.

you can not call scam to BTG , as i heard about Bitcoin Gold " it is not really pre-mined as there was a rumors about BTG , BTG could have good impact on crypto market and you can compare BTG to BCH or ETH it can be big bubble like others Thanks Regards |

Really? isn´t safe? I just heard that,it would be good if someone said the reasons why it isn`t safe,or point to a link with some information about it,maybe would be quite interesting to know something about it. |

somehow i got some bitcoin gold on bittrex although I dont own any bitcoin, (only altcoins). Any idea how this happened or how to see where it came from? It's roughly one dollars worth lol.

Although Bitcoin Gold is currently in position 5-6 at https://coinmarketcap.com/, but personally I still not sure yet this coin will be last long in the top 6 altcoins or no. And I personally haven't dared to invest in it, and not yet at all to determine whether this coin have a good potential for short or long term investment. Still looking for more detail on it and developments of the price. |

I have fiat funds I am looking to invest and I am giving my glances on this.
Still pretty cheap, feels like bitcoin in 2015 so it is a time travel to the good old days when you were able to buy nice chunks of coins with your hard earned fiat.

Price has risen 13% in the course of today. At the beginning of BTG I expected a big dump similar to Bitcoin Cash, however, the coin price development remains very stable. If the market is bullish it outperforms many other coins including Bitcoin. I think $400-$450 is possible in the next days when the overall market stays bullish.

i was expecing about the correction. The majority of altcoin in the bullish trend right now. But not sure about your target because that was quite high in my opinion. $350 should be the peak to the bitcoin gold. The correction may happen on the next days. |

Btw, I also don't like BCH but at least they got a "strong" team behind the coin. And they actually seem to believe what they do is right. BTG has no backup at all.

Anyway, it is going to die soon, and we all know that, but it seems that there are some people still making a huge profit from this kind of trash. I have never trusted bitcoin gold, and that is the main reason of why i have dumped all of them when i just received them on my wallet, they were not even worth $130 each one of them. And that was a fair price, i was not going to hold them all because you know how volatile is the market, maybe it could drop to $30 and i could lose all those free coins, lol |

Totally agree. This coin is nothing but a shit coin. I rather buy bcash than this shit. Don't worry we won't see this shit for long. You was wrong about the "no backup team". BTG has a backup team, but all of them are scammers. |

This coin is just benefiting from having the privilege of "Bitcoin" name and being its fork.
Does not have the big backers like Bitcoin Cash so not sure how long it stays this high.
