"like you're a girl" is terribly insulting. I've know some girl Software Engineers, and Electrical Engineers who would put the brains here to shame. I know one girl who dropped out of high school at 16, Graduated a community college at 18 with a 4.0 and graduated Drexel at 22 with a BS in Physics and a Masters in Math at the same time.

Use BFGMiner and there is no reason to setup any other drivers.  It will automatically use the FTDI drivers built into Windows and will run with that.  I had mine up and running within a minute.
