So looking to buy one of those asic miners that's USB powered. 300-330mh/s how long to profit I'm getting 0.00000091 btc per share.

maybe you'll get ROI within 12 months, if the current network doesn't go up too much.

If I'm honest I wasn't expecting a large return really early. I want it more to get the bitcoin value as I dnt trust any website to buy bitcoins but don't mind paying for them by not getting a return so long as I get a near return.

If you want to earn bitcoins, start a service or arbitrage.

I was thinking of a minecraft server but will only pay with bitcoins and for enough users I'm looking at roughly 1-2 btc a year I currently virtually 0. Note no server yet.

Unfortunately, in the site's own words, "Extrapolating bitcoin difficulty or price is pure voodoo", and estimating return on investment requires an estimate of both. If all the ASIC vendors promising delivery "real soon now" actually do deliver, the current total network hashing power will soon look pretty pedestrian, and the return from mining for a given level of power will fall sharply. For example, you can see a list of impending hashing power just for BFL in an entirely unofficial list here:
