Attention!! This thread is not official and I am not the developer of PXC
WHY YOU SHOULD INVEST IN PXC(PHENIXCOIN)

    INTRODUCTION:
Pheneixcoin is based off of Litecoin using scrypt as a proof of work scheme.

Phenixcoin was developed as internal testing coin for use with our various sites. It is currently in use at our crypto coin based poker site PhenixPoker.com. We have a number of project currently under development and planned that will use Phenixcoin as their main currency. You are welcome to mine Phenixcoin for use on our sites as they become available.
        Features:
        Block Target is 1.5 minutes
Block reward halfed every 840k blocks
        168 million total coins
        50 coins per block
        Difficulty changes every 600 blocks
You can find a mining pool set up at PhenixPool.com. The pool has servers in Phoenix-US, Ashburn-US and Amsterdam-NL.
Phenixcoin.com is part the Phenix Crypto Systems Network Inc.
    Here if the official link.

    DEVELOPERS:

    Lead Developers:(The most active)

JhonCar (Lauched the coin also making deals with other companies which will increase the use of PXC.)

Iamatrix (Addresses technical and other issues also developing and programming new websites and services for the coin.)

    Additional Developer:(My personal Favourite)

JeanCool (Operating a mining pool for PXC. Joined the PXC team recently)
Here is the announcement of Jeancool joining the team his jobs are written in the thread.

    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=242264.msg2569692#msg2569692

Things to know about PXC Team:
    • Developers launched this coin with proper planning of more then a year and for that they also invested their own money. Here you could see a reply posted by a developer , It has an image showing a list of servers bought by developers for different kinds of project planned for PXC.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=238367.msg2524170#msg2524170
    • Developers are professional and they know what should be the priority.
    • They also invite new people (JeanCool) in there Team who are capable of taking this project more further.
    • They are ready to face all challenges, They try to resolve problems with in no time. Any one could contact them they always reply and never get late to address issues.
    • They don't fear criticism. And Answer any question professionally.
    • They are not here to pump and dump because they invested in the coin and are honestly taking it as a business. They are completely aware of their responsibilities.
    • They never rush any thing out. They also never wanted their coin to be listed on exchange this soon but the community didn't wait and coin got listed.

    SERVICES:

Services which ready prior to Launch:
Clients were already present for both platforms i.e. Windows and Linux.(Now MAC also available)
    Phenixcoin.com (Official Phenix coin Website)
PhenixPool.com (Official Phenix coin pools Website)
PhenixPoker.com (Official Phenix coin Poker Website)

    Services provided after release:
Phenixst.com (Phenix safe trade escrow was provided because of high demand not planned.)
    explorer.phenix.com (Block explorer)
    forum.phenix.com (Official Phenix coin forum)

Services Planned to be released soon:
Phenixex.com (Official phenix exchange will support many coins and is ready to be released soon)
Some other projects are also being worked on and some awesome deals are also finalizing behind the scenes. Just keep an eye on the official threads.(This is said by developers not me)

    THE HARD FORK:

    • Two weeks back a serious problem occurred when cryptsy.com listed the coin. A massive wave of hashrate was pointed towards PXC because of high profitability and left PXC in a high difficulty and low hash rate problem( Same happened to FTC which took almost a month to be resolved). The developers took this matter seriously and left all other projects temporarily pending and started working hard to resolve this issue. They took a week for this and released a new client which solved the problem and it is most likely that it will never occur again.
    • When they released the new client there was still some problem left in the code some where and created a new problem. The problem was that for some users the client was not syncing completely and was struck on a different block for different users. On the same day of releasing hard fork Iamatrix started working on this issue and released a new version of the client the next day. And finally this issue got resolved completely.
    • Three- four days back there was another issue on all the Litecoin based clients. The problem was that the client was showing an annoying network alert warning users to update to the latest version of Litecoin client. I am proud to tell that PXC developers were the first one to resolve this issue.

    QUESTIONS MOSTLY ASKED ABOUT PXC:

    1)  Is PXC a closed source coin and is only made for use with developers own services and if not then where is the source?
Ans)  No, PXC is not a closed source coin it is an open source coin any one can use it any where and the link to source is Here. https://github.com/phenixcoin/Phenixcoin
    2)  Is it a pump and dump scheme?
Ans)  No, It is not a pump and dump coin. Because developers invested their own money to start this project as a business. And any developer who makes a pump and dump coin neither waits for 2 Months nor does such kind of planning and hard work. You can see a list of servers they invested in before starting this project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=238367.msg2524170#msg2524170
    3)  If the premine is not dumped then where is it being used?
Ans)  Premine is being used as a currency for Official websites and it is also used to make deals with different Companies which could use the coin as their currency. They are also being used to develop awesome new services and websites for PXC where it can be used. Many of the premined coins are used in the official casino website in the form of daily and weekly freerolls and will also be used in the Official Online Casino(Will support i-phone). In addition they are also being given away in this thread here

    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211180.0

And if a problem arises in the new services provided by PXC team and someone loses his/her coins because of that then the developers use the premined coins to help the person. They are always ready help the community.

    WHERE TO BUY:
Currently PXC is only traded on Cryptsy.com but will also be traded on Phenixex.com( Official Exchange) soon.

    NEWS
PXC has just united with FTC and WDC. Which ensures better support and quality.

    NOTE
This is just a summary of all the things PXC has gone through. Still there were lots of issues resolved by developers which are not Addressed here.

    SOME FINAL WORDS:
Personally I think that this coin definitely has a great reason to invest in, It has a great future under the guidance of such developers. Trust me we could never have more better developers then them for any coin. And If I talk about premine then I think it is being used properly and honestly and more detail will be shared about the use of premine when the new projects have been released. They can't share the details about premine due to the risk of Ideas being stolen because if they share the detail they  will have to unveil lots of projects and deals they are working on and there. And of course sorry for the bad English it is my third language.[/list]

How do you reconcile the high number of supporters with the very low hashrate of the coin? It just doesn't add up?

They're just waiting for the difficulty to go down in a few hours. I know I'll be switching all my miners over to pxc right before the retarget.

Now a days miners are really intelligent they mine the most profitable coin from coinchoose and convert those coins to a coin which they support. They want to hold lots of PXC in their wallets so when the difficult goes down hash rate normally goes above 400-500 with in half hour.

CoinChoose... People think they get rich by hopping over from most profitable coin to most profitable coin and then dumping them on a low volume exchange where they actually loose money because they can't dump for the price they thought they can.

They are not in for the long term, they don't have strong hands, they mine and sell dump, making a few bucks to pay for electricity and a Budweiser.
And after a few months they complain "I wish I had 2000 of these coins, I'm so unlucky  Cry".

Phenix hasn't even started yet, the project has some great things coming and now there is a developer merge between PXC, FTC and WDC too, so more places to spend for those 3 coins Smiley

Hey MaGNeT his question was about supporters VS hashrate. Not only about temporary hashers. Supporters are always with us they are trying to get their wallets full of PXC.

Sell on Cryptsy. Or hold as Nawa said. Holding is a better option imho.  Wink

I have been holding mine for two months now. And still keeping them PXC is not innovative but surely developers are.

Wow, Look at where PXC is on coinchoose (not that I believe you should use coinchoose to determine which coin you will mine, means nothing, but nice to see it at top)
