I really wonder that see the price of bitcoin price . now price of bitcoin 9038 usd .
can any one explain why this pump??
someone told that bitcoin hard fork is coming that's why this price pump .
Is simple by people buying and buying and buying next dump will take bitcoin price to decrease. Wait for it. Better be prepared for this >.< |

There is no hard fork coming. I think what will probably come is a soft fork which is Bitcoin Silver. I am now waiting for some more updates on this since the news that first came out were at best fuzzy and vague. But I think more than the fork coming, the top reason why Bitcoin is seriously pumping in the past weeks is that the demand has really risen to an All Time High. There is no other to take for Bitcoin but really up since the coin is very limited and the demand is increasing every day. |

Hard fork is coming, and yes, it has a big role, but some otger times, the price of btc is so slow due to that fork, but tobe honest this is totally due to the people who reaklly believe in bitcoin and continue investing their money, so I guess akk need now is to invest more, hold for more and wait untill it raches 10 000 $

Yes, many people are enthusiastic about hardfork. So they do not want the chance to get a free Airdrop from the hardfork, which surely makes Bitcoin holders more than usual. That causes Bitcoin prices to rise and rise. It's steady.

Correction might really happen after it hit the price of $10k but this is a great opportunity to buy more bitcoin because bitcoin heading up to the moon. Pump and dump is really normal nowadays and if you are really good you can make money through volatility. |

Well, other cryptocurrencies have been rising steadily this last days. Bitcoin has not been the only one. It seems to be generalized in the market at the moment. I wouldn't attribute it to any of the upcoming shit-forks happening.

I don't understand why this price increase is so huge already. I thought correction will happen after the 7000 usd. But futures on CME will come soon. And it can bring a lot of volatility for bitcoin price. I don't know anyone who buys bitcoin right now.

I do not think it is a pump as much as new money coming in from big and small players alike. You need to keep in mind there can only ever be 21 million bitcoin, and some of those are already lost forever, locked up in wallets with lost keys, and some will need to be mined yet over the next couple of decades. So you have a situation with only ~16 million coins being available, with many of those in cold storage for the long term and places like Coinbase signing up 100,000 new users a month. While they all won't be buying one whole bitcoin, you can see where even if you want one the supply is fairly fixed and the demand is continuing to increase.
It was one thing 3-4 years ago when maybe 100,000 people in total were competing for those coins, but now conservative estimates show that there are more people involved in cryptocurrency than there are bitcoin in existence. Granted, not all of them can afford to buy 1 whole bitcoin, but in the next year or two more and more people will be coming into this space and the supply of cheap bitcoin will continue to go down, meaning the price needs to go up.
So while we will most certainly continue to have ups and downs, I do not think the predictions of a big crash back to $2,000, $3,000 or even $5,000 are very realistic. Even if this did happen you can be sure big investors would be waiting to buy up as many as they could, meaning the price would shoot up and they would then be more than happy to sell you your bitcoin back at 10X the price you sold it at to them.

Well, it's because there are now many big players are joined Bitcoin. I've heard that many big personalities are already invested on Bitcoin. Recently, JP Morgan admitted that they can't beat Bitcoin. Countries like Iran already welcomes cryptocurrency to their territory. The massive adoption of Bitcoin causing a huge leap at the price. Expect that it will pump even more because some Foreign exchanges and banks are joining Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin will hit $10k. In addition for this, is the hardfork. So many people are just holding Bitcoin to obtain some hardfork coins. It fuels up the pump and it will continue to record all time highs.

It has nothing to do with Thanksgiving or the Christmas holidays. I'm surprised that people on this forum aren't better informed. The recent hard forks happened, or got cancelled, so nothing to do with them right now. It does however have everything to do with CME launching the first bitcoin futures service, which The Man Group ($100 billion hedge fund) and JP Morgan have said the'll be using. Do a little research and read the crypto new sites. It's well documented, with a $10K+ BTC expected as a consequence. It will keep going up for a while until the price touches $10000, it will happen before the end of the year and we all know that it will really happen.
There is no reason at all, but tell me one thing, are you worried about the price? or you just dont like to see it going up? I am glad that it touched 9000, and there are a lot of memes about the price, lmao.
Just keep calm mate, i guess that you are earning money from this pump, and we all are on the same situation that you are now.
itll happen long before then, we've got a bit over a month before the year is over, and bitcoin was just over 9000 yesterday when i took a look. taking a quick peek at it now, seems its come up to 9500 pretty much overnight. havent really kept up with the news on bitcoin over the past few days, but whatever is going on, it's raising the demand for bitcoin in the entire market quite substantially, enough for what is essentially a ~5% increase overnight, which is insane. that being said, it doesn't necessarily imply a bubble resulting from the price spike, it could actually just be organic growth we're seeing. wouldn't surprise me with all that's been happening in the last few months. |

I don't think investors will give an attention to the upcoming Bitcoin Diamond fork, just look what happened to the possible-scam Bitcoin Gold that already advertise a fraudulent wallet on their website and now facing an issue. I don' think the pump is all about the Fork, look at the CME Bitcoin Futures who made Bitcoin mainstream ( well in business field of course ) that attract many investors to invest on Bitcoin and you can see it pumping real hard. We can see a large change if the movement will not stop, $10K is possible within this week, we will see a lot of change after the implementation of CME's Bitcoin Futures, a big dump and dip might happen. |

Forks or with no forks let us enjoy the price pump and hope that it is not just made by those forks. This price pumps may be caused by the statements that was released by known people (JP Morgan, South Korea's adaption, Japan) and other positive things that was released for bitcoin in the past week. |
