A crash won't happen anytime soon with the ongoing price increase. It has got the possibility for a crash in the growth, only if the whales try to manipulate generating panic among the common users for the purpose of generating profit. This time such scenario might not exist as the price pumping happens rapidly.

Probably withing the end of the 1st month, January next year, we might see a fall. Even after 25th December 2017, there is a probability we might see a little fall, as many might sell for fiats. I won't say it will crash until some serious news spreads and it might fall, but crashing is a strong term actually.

The price has fallen low of a sudden getting close to $10100. I believe this to be the fluctuation for price to grow higher than the price that it has recorded as today's ath. This will continue for some time period, over which the profit will be promising.

This has been trend whenever there is a price dip after reaching the peak then within couple of weeks or month there will be a huge price pump as we have witnessed in last 2 years so let's hope to mint more and more profit this time without selling bitcoin and holding to it during the price dip. |

I think no one was expecting current results. Once even theymos wrote here ( I guess he is good in bitcoin economic too, he is our admin at all) that he couldn't imagine if bitcoin rise would last so much time without crash, it still continues to grow and today we saw how it jumped by approximetly 2000$, that's insane. So I think no one has any idea when it will happen, hard to say because nothing affects it's price, it even becomes stronger everyday.

Yes that value is very thin and it is unlikely to happen. I do not think bitcoin will crash to 5,000 usd, I feel the value of bitcoin will stay at 7,000 usd - 10,000 usd and possibly will still increase again in the following years. |

Hmm ya changes of a crash are always there if btc is to break the resistance of 8500$ then it's a free fall, and all we'll be able to see it fall, let's see what happens for me first 9500 and next 8500$ are very important if that falls then it's over for btc for a very long run however if it maintains its current form we may see 12k very soon, with 10k gone 12k is my target for btc. Let's wait till that happens. |

I think once the price break the $10,000 price will not go back to the 4 digit price again, Since people will believe more in the coin and will hold their coin more. If you will notice on today's price it never went down to the $9,500 level because most of the hodlers are waiting for the price to hit the $10k level and once it is hit they will adjust their limit again to $15k and when there is a dump other investors will then invest to the coin that will cause it to go higher.
A lot of investors are even seeing more reasons to get into the bitcoin train right now and any one who is wishing to sell their stuffs lower than $10000, they should please go ahead because people like me who missed some pretty good price earlier would really want to take it away from them. I wonder why people are looking forward to crashes when they should be looking forward to the future. Well, no one can always think the same way. If bitcoin crashes, I am ready to take them into my wallet. |

Let's wait till that happens. Any possibility could indeed happen to Bitcoin. Such a price reduction is indeed quite high and also lose several thousand dollars in just a short time. This has all happened before, but I am still convinced that Bitcoin can withstand a variety of negative sentiments. Although there will be a decline, the chances of a return are great. We can see that nowadays Bitcoin's development is very good and fast, people's confidence is increasing and infrastructure has supported Bitcoin. Let's continue to use Bitcoin because by using Bitcoin simultaneously then we can maintain Bitcoin as a currency and assets that have good prospects. |

Actually, most of the alts have their prices tied to BTCBTCBTC, so they're basically getting pricier as well. It's a good idea to draw short trades at times like these though. |

AWw why didn't you wait for the price of bitcoin to reach $10,000 you already lost another $2,000 profit of bitcoin instead of waiting you panic that bitcoin might drop the price but decreasing of bitcoin is always a part which its always decreasing once traders , and investors sold their coins too and buy another one. |

I suggest postponing your wish to buy bitcoin in the range $9K-$10K. If bitcoin break the 10K, it will be just momentarily. I don't think it will stay in the 10K area for long (at least not in 2017) so don't rush to buy it now just wait and it will come to you again.
What if the price never stops on surging, you will still postpone your desire of buying? There's no one knows when the next btc crash will happen. But the most impossible thing that will happen today is that bitcoin will be good at $10,000 very soon. No one absolutely know what can happen next and I feel the fact that people are seeing bitcoin just as an investment is where the problem really is. Bitcoin is more than just an investment and there is so much to benefit from it in the long run and anyone who wants to sell their position now should be my guest as we really want some real investors not those looking for the profits anyway to keep the community strength running. Selling at any point now is more like depriving yourself of upcoming goodies. Instead of crash, price is now $11,000 amazing isn't it? Bitcoin is now an investment and treated as an asset by everyone. Forgetting that it is a currency for purchasing goods and other stuffs but still whether we use it as investment or currency, bitcoin is still the best. Price gets higher, keep your coins don't panic. If i am not wrong most of them have sold out their bitcoin nearby 10k price and now when the price is going above 11k+ they are just feeling sorry and i think the next crash will be nearby 13k price when traders will start buying back in feeling that now it will move more up and their will be some bad news and the market will crash reacting on that fud. They sold or not, correction will come and if you are bitcoin believer you just have to keep on holding and don't go with the flow of those people that are giving us tips of panic selling. The dip has happened yesterday until a while ago and if you endured it, you did surpass now at $11,000. |

It is why the "fall" is not yet... The few who sell are not enough numerous...or sell not enough. But this situation can suddently change and the "fall" will be important then. The skill is to buy and sell and rebuy at the best moment... All people can not only buy because not enough liquidities. Just waiting is not the best to do. The best to do is to trade at the good moment and we see that it is possible to do so. |
