There are many reasons for the growth of bitcoin, but I think the most obvious is that its popularity is growing. And many people after seeing how it is growing rapidly since the beginning of this year decided to just make money on this growth

I guess so,its earlier than expectation maybe few hours to pump upto $10k BTC maybe before the year ends it will hit $15k ATH.

Bitcoin Cash isn't a joke that most people tagged it. Bitcoin is clearly has a good future and Bitcoin back in time late last year was actually pumped by whale traders the same with Bitcoin Cash event last month but unfortunately Bitcoin Cash sudden pump and the same time Bitcoin's price was dropped tragically so that's the reason people raged and upset but we have to accept that cryptocurrencies were made to pump or dump and deserve to increase the price and value. This event isn't limited to Bitcoin Cash alone, if there's a sudden pump for Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond then let it be. Invest on potential coins as we like but we couldn't control the sudden dump and pump in  every Cryptocurrencies because that's what they're made for.

When Bitcoin started last 2009, nobody's are seeing it as the most important invention of the decade but late 2016 it was pumped hard and early 2016 it reached $1,000 so people started to see it as the most important currency in the future and investors are buying more Bitcoins and hope it will rise more so then Bitcoin's price doesn't dropped and increasing continually and that's the reason why Bitcoin's price bumped into almost $10,000 as experts it will reach that amount high before this year end.

Will reach 10 000 then profit fixing at 7500$. What do you mean by pump? Bitcoin is very large for such activities as pump, then perhaps fundamental factors.

There is no one reason, I think that the situation is good n general, nothing bad is expected . No forks, everyone is confident , i think we will see a big resistance level at 10k$ and it will be a  while before we cross it.

We see a solid resistance in 8,300 to test if we can go through upto $10k usd in the next hours,hopefully this day we will reach the promised $10K before the year ends.

Agreed we have the same observation,if the BTC goes up and down the alts bleeds when the BTC go sideways the alts grow.

It is because hundreds signed up to Coinbase last days. More demand, bigger prices. I think CME will launch a future options market for bitcoin, or at least people believe so.

While people keep the money flow into bitcoins, the price will keep rising.

Bitcoin had some good times of flat period in around 8000-8200.
Alts woke up a bit and now we are growing almost together.

Bitcoin now is trendy stuff and world accepts it completely.

People already chilled after cancelled fork. First they sold their alts and bought btc to get the free btg, then they went back to alts. Since that time alts had a good growth and holders probably have some doubts about the further growth and selling alts for btc again. Plus market is a bit wormed up with the rumors about 10k btc till the end of the year.

I think the failed SegWit2X is the better candidate to why Bitcoin is pumping right now, but I think in the overrall is just getting more popular.

Coinbase got 100k new users just in the thanksgiving day, so I think the real reason is that more people are investing and it's getting closer and closer to hit the mainstream.

For me Bitcoin is now over $10k, if you put together all the forked chains, but some will argue that it was the fork chains that helped drive the price up. I will enjoy this as long as the bull run continues

I smell fish in current btc pump,it is going to fast,alts,few of them are rising to btc giving huge gains to fiat
Today is sunday so i think we have many btc weekenders buyers and lets wait for asia trading to start
