After playing with mine for a few days, I'm very impressed.

The most noticeable issue is how well it tolerates higher temperature.

From what I've seen, this device does not really require any secondary cooling unless you are in 90+ F temps.  Even at higher temps, there is no drop in hash rate.  It's been a particularly hot few days here.

I've run it in a room with the window open and no additional cooling.

At 73 degrees F ambient it runs at 62 degrees C pushing 60.235 GH/s.

At 83 degrees F ambient it runs at 67 degrees C pushing 60.188 Gh/s.

I had it up in running a few minutes after the box was open and it's been running for days without a hitch.  I haven't plugged in the killawatt yet, but it's running off an 850w PSU that is already powering a 7950 and 2x 6870s.

Thank you for the useless review. There are many other threads where you could post your useless stuff.

SO LOL. So you are saying that you need a secondary cooling when it hits 33 degrees Celsius. I just can't stop laughing. Retard Inaba is doing his job well as i see. Kudos to him.

Congratulations. What about the noise?
Still love to see some killawat figures and if possible how many HW errors you have.

Enjoy the toy.

Don't need be rude or Bullying, it's true that the information could be on others threads but no need to be that.

I'm just bullying Inaba. If quattro is indeed a new true user who wasn't manipulated by retard Inaba to post this then now he knows that creating new topics about topics that are already being discussed isn't very welcomed on this and maybe on other online forums. Enjoy your mining! But i've said it and i will say it again that i have a problem when seeing new topics about shitty BFL who magically delivers units and with useless reviews.

I realize he doesn't post much, but he registered 7 days after you.

New threads about useless topics appear every day across the boards. A new one about a finally received 50GH unit won't harm anyone.
No need to be an asshole.

It's actually a 60GH/s unit.

Right, my bad.
How come is 60Gh though? From all I know is still advertised as 50 GH/s Bitcoin Miner.
Is an upgrade possible, like the one for the 5 GH units?
Or 60GH was back then, at the time when you ordered?

It was originally advertised as a 60 Gh unit when I ordered.  All the units I ordered were advertised as 60Gh.  I didn't have to upgrade.

I'm seeing 278 watts from the wall running of an 80plus gold psu.  The fan isn't particularly loud, but it has a bit of a whine.  I suspect this is mostly due to the brand of fan they chose.  The amount of air coming out of the exhaust side isn't that great.  I have case fans that push as much air and are very quiet.

If I ever get around to opening it up, I'll check the brand of fan.

Maybe the other two fans inside are making that whine noise ?

I considered that, but I think the noise would be a bit more muffled in that case.  Hard to say until I open it.  With that said, I'm mining with it at home right now and its not loud enough to be an issue.  When I move it to my datacenter it won't matter at all.

As I mentioned they are extremely tolerant to warmer operating environments ... unlike the FPGA singles.  I have to run secondary cooling (a room fan to keep them running consistently in warmer temps).

Thank you for the useless review. ...

That isn't very friendly.  I found the info useful.  Here are some really useless things he could answer:

Does your mother like it?
Does it match your furniture?
Does it work with Jewish electricity?
Can you turn it up so it is louder?
How much weight does it hold before being crushed?
Is it water proof or just water resistant?
Does it insult Inaba?

It looks like the smaller fans are these:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835129029

or the 80mm version.

There are complaints of noise in the reviews.

My FPGA singles don't like anything over 73-75F ambient.  Try running them in a room without secondary fans.  Try running GPUs in a room without secondary fans.

It's my understanding the Avalons perform just as well in warmer ambient temperatures.  I've been mining for about 3 years, and this is a pretty impressive leap.
