I think it's very important. Thus, you are part of the global crypto-currency community. As often there are very famous people who are useful to listen to.

Its very important and I for one event attented an ICO soft launch. Its better to know the people behind the project and their background on what they are doing.Learning who are the devs are  gives a better impression to the team and the company as a whole.Explaining thier project is also a good insights of thier roadmap and future plans.So yeah its important to attend if you have time.
