Hey guys originally I took my farm the direction of max density so I've ended up with a lot of 1080 TI's, but it left my farm very Equihash and lyra heavy, making the recent great opportunity of mining ETH again (with them delaying ice age and the price increase) not really an option for me. . I've read a lot of back and forth on the 3gb. . figured I'd give them a shot! Deleted any extras and built this mining rig with just the essentials and goals of max profits/fast ROI There's always room for improvement, if there's something you'd recommend that would be better than what I did, or used, or better OC settings please let me know I'm always open to constructive feedback! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxBYbAAtXWAFULL 12 1060 MINING RIG BUILD PART LIST - available to buy on Amazon 1060 3gb http://amzn.to/2zqtcGQ (Shown) http://amzn.to/2i8PkCq (Cheaper) http://amzn.to/2zsOiEP (Alternative) http://amzn.to/2A6MLY6 ($25 rebate atm) PCIE Risers http://amzn.to/2hUHeJKMotherboard http://amzn.to/2iT63qyhttp://amzn.to/2zqUMny (Alternative seller) CPU http://amzn.to/2AatLZeRam http://amzn.to/2A8rJrVUSB Harddrive http://amzn.to/2zqwlGShttp://amzn.to/2Ad58bG (Better price Alt.) Vosk, Great post and great video. Got time for a question or two?
I've been watching your videos and dude they are 'top tier' for us n00bs.
I am replicating CryptoChicks 1070 TI build. I have the 13 GPU asrock motherboard and a 1200 parallel miner server PSU.
Problems: (with the 100% server PSU in mind, not ATX) 1. Can you clarify exactly what cable/adapter you use for the CPU/8 pin EPS slot on the asrock MB? 2. Noting the 6 pin PCIE cables that come with the server PSU, what specific adapter did you use to power the "2" molex ports on the motherboard?
Lastly, you and Quintleo refer to afterburner OC settings. Would you mind sharing the settings that you throw into the 1bash (NVOC) clock/memory settings for your 1070 ti rig?
Thanks again and keep up the great work!

I don't have a pic at the moment but I am using 4-pin ATX of the Pico for H110 and it works fine. It goes to the left 4 pins (if you are looking at it directly), but you do need to power both Molex for the MB to work with multiple GPUs. Any Molex to 2x Molex adapter will work.

So just to double check, the 4 pins closest to the CPU fan? which pico are you using / what wattage is it rated for? I know you're certainly knowledgable on this -- what are your thoughts on the different wattage ratings for the picos? ex 160w vs 180w etc and whats the best rec for rigs? especially where it's a bit more demanding with a board requiring 2x molex like this

I am using 160 watt version and had it modded by flminer here. I must say he did a great job by adding a 6-pin and 8-pin (for MB ATX). I am using 4-pin for the SRR to work, I can use 8-pin but then SRR doesn't work for some reason. I am using 2400 watt parallel miner PSU to power 11 1080 Ti. I couldn't addd more because the shoe rack I am using doesn't have room, lol. I am running 13 1070s (Zotac minis) on the same setup though.

Was feeling too lazy to make a frame after I saw this shoerack, lol.

i have my 1060's set at 58% power limit and they run under 70 watts therefore i use unpowered 30cm 16-1 risers, also use them on 470/570 which run about 100w. this is because they get their power from psu and there are 4-pin connectors on the motherboard. i've had no problems with risers. i think usb risers are only needed on higher power cards and motherboards that don't have the additional power connectors.

That's really interesting, do you have a link to the ones you use or something similar? what are your cost savings

Can you confirm if your 12 Cards have Samsung Memory ?
I found this EVGA model for 200 bucks. ANd i hesitate with Zotac AMP model.
3GB is not a problem now ?

The H110 BTC+ Pro boards have some kind of sensor for occupied PCIe ports. I have trouble with more then two risers connected even with two molex connectors powered. But the connectors are really needed only if you are not using powered risers. I simply disabled the warning in BIOS and as for now board is working like charm with 8 GPU WITHOUT any molex connected, with only 4-pin for CPU power and 160W picoPSU. So feel free to have a bit less cable hassle with the mainboard :-)

First off... big thanks to all miners posting in this thread.
BSAlex, Dude... your post was awesome. I gotta admit this server PSU + asrock 110 motherboard was starting to drive me nuts. I have molex adapters coming in the mail... but staring at all these 1070 ti's not functioning was getting on my nerves. Your idea to go into the BIOS and shut off the hardware warning was great! The rig fired up with all my GPUs online... with -no- molex power adapters and running completely off server PSU, following Vosk's 1070 ti build.
Hats off to all of you, this is a really good community.
Cheers.

I can add it to the to do list but just because mine may be doesn’t guarantee a different order will be unfortunately. However at least it is a possibility!
