I have just send him a message that I am willing to visit his office and report to the community. I live nearby.
I got a friendly reply from them. A visit is fine by them, but not very useful at the moment because they outsource the assembly of the machines and don't have received the chips yet they ordered.
They expect
the first batch of chips in 2-4 weeks, and their own Avalon clone beginning of August.
So I declined the invite to visit them now, I might take it in a few weeks when more is happening.
And I did suggest them to add an Avalon module only product to their website, there are plenty of Avalon 3-module owners who could add a fourth module!
And made a remark about their pricing
EDIT: My misunderstanding: the first group buy was not theirs.
Correct, they are arranging their own group buy , in US DOLLARS. A plan prepared to fail.. Since they will have to pay in bitcoins, who will take the risk of bitcoin value increase?
