Hello,

I am new to mining but have studied it and have kept up with it for the past few years. I have always been fascinated with it and wholeheartedly and fully support the idea of an uncentralized banking system. Beautiful.

I don’t plan to make a killing but I am thrilled to finally contribute to the community. I was hoping to get some advice on a pc, as I will use the mining rig as a personal pc on occasion as well.I plan to have a three Radeon RX 580s setup.

My question: could this pc handle the gear? If I ribbon cable out the other two 580s (one is included), would this work? I know it would be ugly, but would it be operational running the two cards out of the tower and mining?

Thank you all very much. Any help is very appreciated.

(I may build a similar PC as well instead, just the idea in general. It seems most people go full open-air rig or just use only two cards. Again, i will use it as a personal pc on occasion)

Much love

The PC:

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Just saw similar posts, Sorry all. So main point is, could you ribbon cable out 2 gpus and run everything smoothly? Seems legit to me?
