What Pc requirements or  software/hardware pc req is recommendable to mine btc?
I want to start mining but i heard that it requires high system specs so your motherboard won't be toasted. Glad if you can help me. Smiley

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I would definitely research some more on various websites and sources to see what they recommend. Self-research is going to help you improve your learning and grow with your project instead of stumbling along from clear-cut directions from a forum poster.

Look into GPUs!

You can either buy Bitcoin ASIC miner to mine bitcoin, or build high end GPU mining rig to mine Altcoin and exchange it for bitcoin in exchanges. You can go to the Bitcoin mining section or altcoin mining section of this forum for more information, or just google it.

Agree.

As a little advice, I recommend you if you really want to do mining, research carefuly and start mining other currencies, which for sure will be much more profitable than mining BTC. Nowadays BTC mining is for the mining farms only. Try to find a coin that supports both PoW and PoS mining (if you don't understand what I telling about, search PoW and PoS on Google), it will be even more profitable for you, for sure.

When Bitcoin just started many years ago, it was still possible to mine Bitcoin using the ordinary PC but as difficulties of mining increased mining became impossible using PC. Right now, you can buy specific equipment made just for mining and they can be expensive (though you can recoup your investment easily since Bitcoin is rising in value). Now, with PC I heard that you can instead mine other coins. Just search for it somewhere in this forum or in Google for more information. Mining business can be a good way to earn some money especially if your source of electricity can be cheap.

Well to be honest it is a little late for mining BTC from a computer. I would not recommend that. Try mining other crypto.

Bitcoin mining is no more a casual activity. It is a serious business now and we should leave it for those who treat it in that way. However, if you try to mine alt-coins then you can go with the programs like Minergate where you can start mining altcoins with the available resources but you will need comparatively higher efficient mining hardware to earn profit using it and then you can exchange it with BTC.

You can Mine Bitcoins but the algorithm is hard these days, still, ASIC mining units are making a good profit. You can try nicehash or minergate for profitable hardware recommendations to mine Bitcoin. But it would be better if you go with Investment.

Please don't try have a look in processor is the big matter in GPU even dual core will work efficiently and it will be enough to have 10 and more cards in the one rig. If you wish to start the ASIC miner you should have the hardware, PSU and all cabling line for miner.
If you mine with the GPU you have purchase the complete CPU board product and video cards to start the mining work. You will be able make money in mining altcoins with GPU.

Don't look into GPU's, don't look into anything  Bitcoin mining -- as you're not going to make a cent in Bitcoin mining these days, even with a large (and I mean very large investment) you're going to end up losing money as you're unable to maintain this, unable to compete with cheap power (such as China), and you're too keen on thinking of the free money that you forget the amount of work that goes into something like this.

Don't mine BTC.

I'd advise mining Altcoins, obviously using NiceHash or something along those lines to be able to auto exchange for Bitcoin -- then auto exchange to USD through something like Coinbase.

Or just Buy BTC, or investing in something else (stock market?)

Nicehash and Minergate are software bro not a hardware. You have to look at the best Asic to mine the bitcoin since the algo and block has to mine are expecting high amount of hashes to completely the each block. If you are able to invest around 2.5k to 5k you can go with the any asic miner which can best to go for bitcoin mining like avalon, l3 plus or antminer s9.

Well you know obviously your hard disk should be 1000 GB the least and go for intel core i7 and ram keep it more than 4 GB * the least *
Thats really more like you are making your pc for hardcore gaming ,
What really important is that you download an offline wallet.. for windows and then softwares like btc miner latest version will help you efficiently connect with the point source..
Also you do need to set your bitcoin address so that they can send you your rewards..
Then again search a little and I would recommend windows XP , its the best for all this stuff literally.

You will need Bitcoin ASIC miner, which you can buy via various sites, but simple and safe way is Amazon site. You can look here for some more info - https://www.bitcoinmining.com/bitcoin-mining-hardware/Grin

I think mining BTC will be a lot of work because you need a good set of computer or what they call rig before we can properly mine. I have tried mining and it heats up my laptop very fast. So i guess the hardware must be advanced and better before you can mine.

In my opinion, digging is very difficult and we should leave it to experienced diggers. To me, it is easier and more effective to keep and keep coins. It's a brilliant plan.

I haven't done a ton of research, but now a days it looks like it takes a lot of power to mine and it's not as profitable as it used to be.  With bitcoin that is.  I think some people may want to just do it for fun or as a project. Of course you also need the money to invest into any hardware you don't have plus other costs such as electricity.  Even with bitcoin -  I suppose you could still gain, even if it's not much but these days anything is better then nothing.
