If you know technical analysis well enough and basics of fundamental analysis you will be able to predict price development pretty accurate for any coin. It to say about long term investment, I would choose XRP and SC, and of course always 40% of you bank in BTC.

You should wait for some bloody dips all over the market, after that you should pick up stratis or some other good coins to make a nice and fast profit.

I guess Cardano (ADA) is the best altcoin to trade right now for short term since this coin listed on Bitrex the volume in 24 Hours pumped. This is good to take advantage of this coin.

I still like ETHEREUM the most. Ether got a huge scope to grow and the reason is quite simple...most of the altcoins are based on Eth platform(i.e. ERC20 tokens) and they are easily transferable with ETH pairs. Platforms like Etherdelta provides that facility to swap your token with Eth very easily and quickly. Moreover, Eth transaction fees is way less than BTC. For trading, ETH pair is the most effective and economical.
Therefore, no of transactions on ETH platform is increasing like anything day by day. So I suggest Ether above any other altcoin to invest for 2018.
