hi am newbie here..can anyone suggest me good exchange to stat buying  cryptocurrencies..

Welcome to the cryptocommunity, mate!
There are different exchanges based on different features and prices and it depends that what are you interested to buy.
If you want to buy Bitcoins, try Localbitcoins, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp and/or Bitfinex.
And for altcoins, Bittrex and Poloniex hold the most volume and Liqui, as well as Binance are also fine based on your convenience.
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Im using right now Cryptopia. Im joined like a mounth or two ago. I think it is a really good echanger, easy to use, and you get used with the site really fast. There are another really famous exhangers like poloniex. So check them out and pick the one that you like the most. I use cryptopia to trade onions because at the moment it is the only exchanger this altcoin have. I hope i helped you.

In my opinion, it is worth investing in Ethereum, but for this you need a lot of money. If you do not have a huge amount, you can try it with Waves, because it is also developing great.

You don't have to use an exchange. It is probably simpler to use Changelly or LiteBit. You can buy cryptos there for dollars or euros.

If you have a few coins and want to convert them you can also use ShapeShift.

Always keep an eye on the fees. LiteBit is my favorite.

I would highly suggest Binance although their markets dont have much cryptocurrencies, but its a very easy and fast exchange, it even has a well designed app with  high security and great interface, but if you go to the market and you dont see a crypto currency you want then ill suggest cryptopia as an alternative

There are plenty of exchanges to choose from, below are some of the more popular ones.

"Mainstream":
https://www.coinbase.com/
https://www.kraken.com/

For less "mainstream" but more cryptocurrency pairs:
https://www.bitfinex.com/
https://bittrex.com/
https://poloniex.com/
https://www.binance.com/

First buy bitcoin form somewhere Cheesy next transfer bitcoins to exchanges. Exchange depends on coins. I prefer you as a beginner Bittrex is good exchange for you and you can use Poloniex and Binanace too. They are easy to trade and understand.
