Hard to say reliably. But one for sure is Sunny Kings PPC.
I don't feel that any other alt coins developers have proven themselves as of yet. However I am not an expert and am just writing from intuition.

fishy its in your best interest to do your own homework on each coin. People will steer you to a particular coin for 1 of 2 reasons.
1) They believe in the coin
2) They have a stake in the coin so they want you to believe in the coin.
After all its your time and money. Just remember whats popular now might not work later. Think things thru and were the coin
could be at a year from now.

Maybe you can add Terracoin to the list. It's OK since the dev have fixed the difficulty adjustment issues.
Novacoin also a decent one with a good value.

My vote goes for ValueCoin and Alphacoin. Both devs are doing a great job promoting the coins and setting up a nice backend for miners.
