If you are using cryptocurrency as an investment I would hold onto it for years. It is here to stay and will keep going up over time. With more people becoming aware of it and all the companies starting to get into crypto Bitcoin will continue to skyrocket for many many years.

I think you should go for BTC because more and more people get interested and the awareness is bigger and bigger. So more people will buy and use so the price will rise.

Hello, please at what rate does bitcoin increase?

Nobody doesn't have the exact guess about the Bitcoin price because many people are saying it will touch more than 25000$ by next year. I am also newbie like you to learn many new things about the Bitcoin, but what i can say it will reach 13000$ by the end of the year.

Caution: It's only my prediction don't stick to it.

It's never too late to start doing something. The same would be say about bitcoin. Today's price is $ 11,800, but two weeks later — $ 15,000...

That is going to be good. Bitcoin is the most liquid and fast growing crypto currency. I am plan to do the same after I will have some extra money, but I'm also plan to share those money and for Etgerum as well, people on the forum are saying it will also cost like 1000-2000$ in sooner time.

Some investors say that Bitcoins could grow to 100,000 per coin.
I'm keeping mine in the Blockchain wallet and some in HexaBot to give me a bit of profit.
I found an interesting project recently but Im in doubt. Mytimecoin, its like casback by coins for watching or using information from partners of it. Have anyone heard about it?

I was reading about it and it sounds that its one of the easiest way to get tokens..but is it worth to try?

Definitely,  just look at the news right now,  people and businesses are starting to consider bitcoins,  and watch some of the videos about the future of bitcoins.  Surely you will want to keep your btc.

I think the long-term trend of BTC is good, so I feel that buying at a low point is a very good choice and hold it for a long time until you feel the right price.

Definitely there's a lot of talk about that,in case of that the number of sites accepting that as a form of payment can increase significantly would be useful in the future.

Hi guys, I am new to bitcointalk.org, I just wanted to ask if there are still decent ways to mine Bitcoin on a desktop. I mean, almost everyone is using a miner or any other hardware to do so.

I'm afraid not. Even the most powerful desktop can't mine Bitcoin nowadays. You'll just waste your PC's hardware in the process without any worthwhile return.

Thanks for the reply,

What would be an estimated budget needed to build a decent rig to mine. Mostly in altcoins, since bitcoin is much more harder to mine.

Hi guys,

I don't have a huge amount of money to start but I believe in BTC in long term. Althought I can't afford the whole 1 Btc, but I'm planning to buy and hold little by little monthly ( maybe until i get 1 Btc or more) . Is it wise to hold BTC in 2018? Please I need some honest answer.

Ps: ETH I def will start holding soon too Cheesy
Or maybe you need to invest in alts, see what their prices and prospects are. Can not this please and give the realization that they are the next who will replace bitcoin after its collapse.

Less than 1% people own any Bitcoin. Imagine when it goes mainstream. The price will surely go up. Especially, if you believe in it yourself, go for it.
