Very interesting question!! .. i think i would include in my last will and testament that the bitcoin should be accessed/spent after 5-10 years! That would give more time for the bitcoin to gain more value.

Did you guys teach your family members on how to access and use your Bitcoin in case you will die? Do you want to take your Bitcoin with you when you're gone?
Let me hear it from your own opinions...
my wife already knows that i have an investment in Bitcoin. Ill just store all my information in a USB including instructions on how to withdraw it and lock it in our drawer. I wont let my bitcoin fly to heaven with me

I suppose that if you die without giving anyone the private keys, a super computer user in the far future would crack them if the amount you have worths. If your BTC are divided in many addresses it wont probably worth cracking them.

My bitcoin will still be used even if i die later, because i will give my bitcoin account to family member, especially to my sister. Even now I teach my sister to use bitcoin. Because later she will continue the family business and become the backbone of the family. Otherwise, it would be a disadvantage if bitcoin die with me so it's better if family members continue it for future financial needs.

My family would probably benefits it because while I'm alive, will let them know about it
You are absolutely right. We should make a note to any of our love one so that they can take benefit after death.

Yes we have only this option, we must share all information with any of our loved one in our family or else your bitcoins will be no use. it will be in your wallet forever nobody can access and use your bitcoins.

Interesting topic. Probably it is one of the good business idea to handle the inheritance of bitcoin.
Probably zip the private key with a password that your family knows e.g. some anniversary date. Then put the instruction in the will so your family knows how to get access to the private key.

I don't think my family can use bitcoin when i die because my family don't have a person using bitcoin , they think bitcoin isn't legal . They advised me not to play with it because my country has banned bitcoin . If i die , i will convert bitcoin into cash . I will use cash to buy house or something meaningful to my family .

I never think of this yet If you are married then you can just share the private key with your wife, but if you are still single like me, I dont know who to share it with Girlfriend? No of course not Perhaps I will write the private key to my mom in a paper to be kept and the instruction on how to use it, because she is not really familiar with internet kind of thing LOL

If a bitcoin owner dies without anyone knowing he owns bitcoins, then it will be lost forever. Executors would not be able to track them since there are no.force taxation on bitcoins.

i can say if we die without noting any documents about our bitcoin, surely bitcoin will die with us, bitcoin has a very powerful security that not all of us can access without our private key, if we didn't note our private key in computer or paper, no one would know or if they knew, they wont be able to access your wallet.

If someone want to access our bitcoins after we passed away the private is very important for them so we need to give backup of our wallet private key to someone in our family to make sure happy life for them even we are not present. No,I don't want to take my bitcoins with me because I am doing all these things for my family so I will give them all of my assets before I leave this world.

My sister know my bitcoin wallet as well as the authentication code so whatever happen to me she can access my account. This is an advice I think people here in forum must take note the supply of bitcoin is limited and there's no way for some to recover your bitcoin after your death unless they know your pass code and if many people here die and the same thing happen bitcoin can be gone in the circulation because of mass account will become idle or inactive forever.

Yeah,I want to tell my wallet details and how to use bitcoin to my brother because if we are not here we have to give them good life so it is important to hive them our hard earned bitcoin to my family. If we don't share our details to anyone then our bitcoins will also will be lost with us because private key is important if anyone want to use bitcoin. So give your private key to most trustworthy member of your family.

This question is not out of place. We must be able to have some degree of confidence in our loved ones telling them about where certain details can be obtained about our investments.

I have family members who would be able to access my coins if I die.Bitcoin is a valuable digital asset. My husband is already working with me.He knows all the private keys to all my wallets. Both of us are working for our family so my husband would have access to my bitcoin asset after my death.
