Hallo community,
knowing it might be strange to post this topic here, I would like to as to share and comment.
We have launch an experimental donation collection based on Bitcoins as a first try to create a mixed project funding.
The project is a not-profit project which will be support be our company and governmental partners. The selected location is Ivory Coast.

I am African and I live in Africa, Africa has big problems, poverty is one of these big problems, if your project can help, it would be very good, but most people do not make many donations, people want profits, it will be a big challenge for you to get enough money to build 500 houses

thanks for the replay. Yes you are correct, the program just starts last night, and we hope to get some donations (we expect very small donations only) via this channel.
And you are right, the donations will not be sufficient to build that much houses, the project donation is only a part of the entire project cost. But we hope, that we could have some dedicated building financed by the donations (e.g. a scholl building or some family houses). The majority of the cost will be funded with support of KFW and other institutions of course.

Hallo, thanks for the opinion! This is one of the reasons i posted it here.
I am with you, difficult to trace were the money will be used at the end even if its small money, it will be interesting and necessary for the people which donate some money.
Would mean that we have to work on more transparency were the donation will be used (e.g. an auditor information or similar).
