Can a trusted member escrow a purchase of miners?

I doubt any escrow would do that to be honest.

When I bought some miners last year I used OgNasty ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18321 ) to act as escrow.

I paid the purchase amount to him + his escrow fee then when I received the miners and checked they were as described and working I instructed him to release the funds to the seller - his fee.

This puts the escrow in a bind and no way they do this.  They touch money not equipment.  Maybe one will do this but will only lead to issues especially for hardware.  Who's at fault if it's broke upon shipping?  Now escrow is out money, doesn't make sense on their end to take a risk

Having done many escrows  I would not be able to guarantee  the gear.

But  How many  units of what gear do you have?

Depending on  what the gear is  and where you ship from maybe I can figure out if it can work.

I am USA based.

Looks like we are in the same state. Which is why I may be able to do it.

like previously said this is another layer of risk introduced to the escrow which im not sure he will be willing to take. also it adds customs and duties/ depends on the country he is . youll have to pay an extra for this to happen im afraid
