Woke up to find someone looking to pump their ann thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2473151.msg25337405#msg25337405) and some people looking to be hired.

I can do this! PM me, or we can talk via Telegram or Skype

Do you think these users deserve negative trust?

Also someone else started their service for bumping anns

According to the forum's rules:
13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.
The specifics aren't provided hence it is open for interpretation. If I will be the one to interpret this, even though the OP is not the one bumping the thread but hiring someone to do so which doesn't follow the 24-hour rule means he still is violating it as a mind of the idea of doing so. In result of doing so, he and the service provider will also (possibly) violate other forum's rules by doing so such as rule#1, 2 and so on.

P.S. That service thread should be taken down.

Yeah, I saw this earlier today as well, and I reported the thread.  Don't know about ethics, but it's definitely against bitcointalk rules.

Looking at some of these ICO threads, it's freaking obvious that that's what a lot of devs are doing and it sucks.  It also sucks that people are so desperate for bitcoin that they'll gladly create 10 accounts just to bump stupid shitcoin threads--but it doesn't surprise me.  Illiterate, idiot 3rd world scuntonies will do just about anything for it, including spamming and all sorts of other questionable activities.  Has this thread been removed yet?

Anyone involved in "ANN or ICO" bumping services should be tagged and banned. This includes the users who are doing this and those who hired these users.

This is against forum rules, and probably a non-ethical practise, I got a lot of inquiries for this via PM/Telegram that I always denied. (or offered to run a campaign for something ethical)

As a matter of fact few days ago I also got a PM from some junior member asking me to promote their ICO by posting some "positive review" for their ICO and to keep their thread on the top of all the other announcements in that section. Even asked me "how much would such a service cost". Instant Ignore!

I dont know if this is something happening recently or has been going on for sometime, but there are also these shitcoin airdrops that pay "airdrops" to the people who post in their ANN thread and leave a positive comment.

However since this forum is full of shitposters ready to vomit out every bit of English they know - even if they are not knowing English, we get to see the ANN section of altcoins bumped every millisecond by the third world jobless shitposters begging for shittokens with their palms out.

This is against forum rules as others said so i don't think that it's even an ethical issue to consider here. It creates an unfair advantage for ICOs for sure, and you can't even browse that section of the forum properly with so many bumps.

That said, it'll be difficult to catch these bumpers. It can be done but with so many messages being posted per minute on the ANN board it's just very difficult.

They definitely deserve a ban for breaking forum rules.

As the forum becomes more and more impressive and attractive for investment, we will continue to see sharp practices like these. The forum has to stand up to stop this by dedicating moderators to focus on fishing out such persons. A warning then ban if caught again will be very appropriate.

Well well. And those are our 'Hero's' discussing forum ethics? What a sad display of arrogance and contempt to outsiders this is.

I would not be surprised to see if you are an alt account/shill/sockpuppet of another begshit third world shitposter. Yes you heard me right those of you who have no education and no jobs to do end up in the forum by some other shitposter tell you "hey this forum is great for earning - just post and earn" LOL

And yes we would love to poke fun at you guys and gals and make sure you all fell ashamed of what you are doing. Bumping an ANN thread for getting some shitdrops is similar to spamming the topic and making the thread look legitimate and the ICO as legitimate too.

What do you think outsiders would think when they see a bunch of butthurt newbies spamming an ICO ANN thread? Does busting you spammers doing that for some shitcoin ICO make us look bad? If it does then I would be proud to that.  Grin Grin

Dont worry not just us "Heros" we got Legends here too ready to bust you beggars.

And both are wellknown shitposters.
