Overview

Litecoin Red (LTCRED) is a tokenized ERC-20 version of Litecoin. The concept was spun off the successful Bitcoin Red (BTCRED) token and looks to give the same community another option that relies upon the same “RED” values and ideas.



AirDrop Information

Our initial AirDrop distribution event ended at 23:59 UTC on December 1st, 2017. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Total Entries: 2421

After reviewing the submissions, only 111 people followed the rules and qualified for this AirDrop. This is a very small number and would not provide a fairly distributed token after an AirDrop took place. We understand many participants did not fully understand that they needed to hold the BTCRED in their personal wallets outside of exchanges in order to be seen in the snapshot. Thus, we have devised an AirDrop that will include all participants who signed up, but the 111 users that followed the rules will be receiving a bonus amount of LTCRED.

Qualified Participants: 16,000 LTCRED AirDrop
Non-Qualified Participants: 8,000 LTCRED AirDrop

At this time we expect the AirDrop to conclude before 23:59 UTC December 3rd, 2017. This gives us the necessary time to put everything in order. As mentioned, we have put 1,000,000 LTCRED tokens available on Ether Delta as we work on the AirDrop. We're hoping to get LTCRED listed on exchanges as soon as possible after the AirDrop takes place. The funds raised from these tokens will be used to help speed up that process. This also gives people who missed out on the LTCRED AirDrop an opportunity to still receive tokens at these early stages.

The AirDrop to the 111 qualified participants has finished successfully! If you followed the original rules and were apart of that group, you should have received 16,000 LTCRED in your wallet.

The AirDrop to the remaining 2310 participants had an issue that caused a brief delay. This has been resolved and the AirDrop has resumed, if you're in this group you can expect your tokens to land in your wallet with the next 24 hours.

I sent an email 6 hours ago and haven't heard a response. Hope I can get my LTCRED today

As many of your are potentially aware. The ETH network has been severely congested for many hours with over 19,000 pending transactions waiting to be processed. This has led to transactions going hours without a confirmation and becoming "stuck", or the transaction failing all together. Given the situation, it's not smart to run the AirDrop putting another 2300+ transactions into the mix. Especially if these pose the risk of failing. We will be monitoring the situation and will send our the tokens as soon as the network is stable.
