Does anyone know of a service that can email me an alert whenever the BTC market price ventures outside of a specific range?

Thread necro, sorry about that.

There used to be a little site that let you enter a price and would beep or flash when the Gox price crossed that threshold, but I can't for the lift of me remember what it was called (it could well be dead).

Does anyone have a link to that?

I use an iPhone app called Bitcoin Ticker that lets you set up alerts, but not emails.

Nice one, thanks.  Didn't even think to check for the phone : )  Looks like this'll do the job:   https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=no.skjervold&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsIm5vLnNramVydm9sZCJd

Nope, doesn't work.  Rats.
(I don't need an email alert by the way, just a web based alert is fine)

I use Bitcoin Ticker on my iPhone...I get non-email iOS alerts when the price crosses a certain threshold. Might suit your purposes just fine...

Hardforks aren't that hard. It’s getting others to use them that's hard.

I would subscribe to such service if it would also be able to send Skype messages and have an alarm based on a given percent within a given timeframe.
