We will make our premine ledger available to everyone to assure maximum transparency!
There will be a premine of 2012 coins (only 1% of total supply) which will be distributed as follows:
50 to John K. as a gesture of goodwill
50 to SaltySpittoon as a gesture of thanks
75 to the first pool
50 to the first quality game site
212 to be distributed in a giveaway, 0.25 OBAMACOIN per person (848 total people will receive)
100 to the first exchange
75 to the second exchange
50 for a block explorer
50 for a web wallet
1000 to be distributed at a later time to foster continued interest

300 to the Obamacoin contributors.  (Web devs, editors, graphics)
The Obamacoin contributors will be paid in Obamacoin.  We have faith in the coin!  That's why instead of being paid in BTC/LTC, we are paying in Obamacoin.

Coins per block: 51, it increases each August when Obama's birthday rolls around.  The block reward will increase then to 52, etc.
Block time: 416 seconds, or about 7 minutes, the number of weeks he will be in office
