Hey guys. Right now I'm trying to send my coins from my Electrum wallet to localbitcoins. The transaction have 20 inpusts and for that moment it require over 30$ with a smallest fee. I would like to try to set a smaller fee and accelerate the transaction but how can I set a custom fee instead of the one offered by the wallet?

For set custom fee you need to go to Tools - Preferences - Fee -- Edit Fee Manually and also good option is to enable Replace By Fee in case you want increase fee later. When you set manual fee my advice is to never set it lower then 10 000 satoshi because it is minumum fee for using ViaBTC accelerator.Maybe some other tools/services can work with lower fee but I think 1$ fee is not too much for sending transaction.

You forgot to add that its a per kb (10sat/byte = 10Ksat/KB) so if the transaction size is over 1kb, the 10K sats included fee will not meet the mimimum fee on viabtc. Op's transaction has 20 inputs so it's definitely over 1kb.

Viabtc only accepts 100 transactions per hour so to avoid getting "Submissions are beyond limit" enter your transaction when an hour starts at exactly 00:00:00

Also try antpool's: https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm?m=savePrioritiseTx. An account is needed but registration is free.

I just name one example when using ViaBTC accelerator, and there is many other ways to speed up transaction.Even if fee is too low there is option to replace that fee if he enable that second proposed option. However in any case it is better to play with fees and some accelerator then pay 30$.

In any case, an additional explanation is always welcome/so let see if OP will succeed to send his transaction with small fee and our little assistance Smiley

Got a first confirmation some minutes ago. ViaBTC pool did its job for 0.001 (33 sat/B). Not the lowest fee that I've ever seen but it was pretty fast. Thanks for your advices guys.
