We have a bottom-up approach in building the economic model, whcih we will publish on 15th Dec'17.
The top-down explanation is like this:
TIM is able to run dapps at the speed of internet apps(confirmation & clearance in CRUD atomicity sense). So it will be able to replace a trillion dollar IT infra & ops costs. It is too much to digest for first time. Please bear for 6 more lines to see the convincing facts & argumentative projections.
For the use of track & trace, we are reducing Singapore Post's billion dollar IT & Ops around the core work. This should equate to the cost of TIM utility. Second example is TIM powered blockchain taxi. For a city like Bangalore, TIM will reduce the 300 M$ IT & Ops(manpower, license & support) cost. In steady state, user experience will be better.
We are next launching many more such apps, which is work in pipeline. We are hoing to leverage TIM's strength of hyperlocal dapps and PoB to fullest.
If we just cover 20% of the market, TIM will be able to capitalize 20 Billion$ in 3 years. This will be a fundamental base to price TIM's valuation. The valuation mechanism itself is based on fundamentals. Leaving speculation and speculation apart.

Thus, we are very confident and prepared, importantly, for delivering the value.

Yes, it may result in that if enough numbers are not reached. We have 100 days to build that. And it is one of our key KPIs.
Token supply is 8.5 B(= world's population). So anyway total impact is limited to 0.2%.
Our economics model does confirm that it is 100M$ give away and we see that as opportunity cost.

There are other plans of bounty tokens, like some games and faucet offerings.
Our Taxi app will be a business, so unclaimed tokens will be allocated for taxi-ride promotions in first 100 launch locations.
Nothing much depends on soft and hard caps. We are giving  a participation opportunity to own tokens which will be priced at 400$ to 800$ due to taxi app, expecting PR in return.
