Alpha preview of test net is already running at https://www.talking.im/network/. Full test net will be released by end of May.

TIM has deployed 36 test nodes on Amazon webservice (cloud) across the world. These test nodes generates transactions. Here, the Nodes are divided among five triangles / graph. These transactions are mined by the same nodes in respective triangles. Once the consensus is arrived then the winner node in blue announces the claim and this is pushed to blockchain miner in upper layer. Ultimately the Merkle root of block is added to a new block created on root blockchain. Alpha preview also displays what is current network state, how many partitions are created. Right now, 5 partition / triangle / graph is shown.

Please follow the TIM Blockchain project for the upcoming information. TIM is an infrastructure project. And as such there can not be an inherent increase of token value by a common enterprise. TIM blockchain contains root layer and lower layer called as mutigraph. Below Diagram shows how blocks are mined by lower layer and added to the root layer. Each block is added always at the end of the blockchain.TIM graph miner (a node in the graph is also a miner) mines micro blocks in each graph and this is verified by upper layer blockchain miner. Hash of the block mined by given graph is stored in the new block created by block miner in root layer. The block of graph is stored in the nodes of that particular graph only. So, the root layer is very light weight as it stores only the Merkle root of blocks of lower layer graph.
The blockchain miner broadcast the new mined block to lower layer to be verified by the lower graph. A malicious intent by blockchain miner will be caught by lower layer graph.

In today’s world, most of the blockchain coin prices are driven by scarcity model and hype which is not based on real world use case. None of the blockchain is capable enough to meet the demand of enterprise and governments. They need high transaction rate and security against future thread like quantum attack. Most of the banks are still keeping themselves away from existing blockchains because of high transaction fees, partial decentralism and future quantum attacks.
