Hi There,
I wanted to know the easiest (and cheapest) and safest way to get FIAT for some of my ETH -- Max cash out would be around $5000CND at a time
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Thanks!

If you have alot of Eth you must to converted it first to local bitcoin so, you can easy to get your money in many way, like banking system and a like. Eth is good cryptocurrency like bitcoin but you must to convert it first in to bitcoin if you want to convert it as real money.

You can use coinbase to cash out ETH easily but it is the cheapest method. Alternatively, you can sell your ETH in marketplace section, but remember to use escrow for security.

Well, you've got two options. 1-Basically the first is selling your ether for bitcoins using any of the popular exchanges (but I prefer poloniex as they have a 0.0001 btc withdrawal fee only) and then selling your btc for cash. You can look on localbitcoins.com for people in your area that are willing to buy them. I'd do it personally using cash in hand. I guess it's easier that way. OR maybe try a bank transfer or something. 2- Is selling it directly for USD on an exchange that supports withdrawing directly to your bank account. I think Bitsamp and Coinbase support that but I'm not sure. You need to make your research before attempting to deposit money anywhere. 3- Sell it for btc and hold onto it for the future . The price went from $4000 to $10000 in one year. What will happen in the coming years ? It's only the beginning.

If you want to cash out your ethereum and turn it into real money you have to exchange it or swap it first into bitcoin. You have to find best exchanger you wanted for swapping then you can cash out it by sending it to your bank account using coinbase.

There are some exchanges where you can sell your Ethereum to fiat currency just like Coinbase, first create an account then deposit your Ethereum to your coinbase wallet then you can now start selling it and transfer the funds to your bank account, note that you can only buy/sell if they support banks from your country and also note that there are fees for selling your Ethereum in Coinbase. You can also try exchanges like GDAX and Gemini. Kraken also lets you sell Ethereum and has the cheapest bank transfer fee but I will not recommended it to you because I had a bad experience using this exchgange. Read this full tutorial on how to sell Ethereum to usd: https://coincentral.com/how-to-sell-ethereum-for-usd/

It depends on where you are from.
Exchange those ETH for bitcoin and cash it out using coinbase or from your local bitcoin ATM nearby.
Exchange your ETH for USDT if you want to be safe during possible correction in price.
You can also use livecoin, yobit like trading platform to convert ETH into USD and withdraw them out in perfectmoney which you can sell to your local guys.

There are plenty of way to cash out your coins.
If it's a well known and strong coin, like ETH, LTC or BTC, there are a big chance that you find an exchange that allows convertion between those coins and your currency (EUR or USD for example). CoinBase/Gdax allow that.
If you want to cashout lower altcoins, you'll have to find an exchange to sell them for Bitcoins, then cashout your BTC in FIAT.
For finding the best exchanges for each coins, I suggest you to check it on coinmarketcap, there are all the info that you need there.

Well, you can either find a friend or two that are both into crypto currencies amd are looking to buy some new alts. So you can save time and be safe from unexpected risks that may happen every time whem transacting crypto currencies online. Or you can just go and convert you alts to bitcoin and then sell your bitcoin for fiat. And boom! You're done. You can now go buy a lambo. Lol.

Yup like some have said use Gdax. That way you can directly exchange the Ethereum and put it directly into your bank account. Not sure if there are limits on how much per day or week you can do.

We can convert our BTC to fiat easily but ETH to fiat still these options are not in our local exchanger sites. We have to convert ETH to BTC and BTC to fiat. Or else search in your place if anyone is ready to buy your ETH for liquid cash. i think you will find someone.

Use iconomi.net to dump your shitcoins, there are better platforms to launch smart contracts but beggars still pumping this shitcoin. did you know that you could also use Coinpayments.net to sell and cash out?

If you have eth, you can trade it in a market in exchange for bitcoin. And afterwards you can encash it. But i dont know with other countries because in our case right now, altcoins are not yet ready for encashment. Maybe in the near future

I think you need to provide information from where you are from, there are some local exchanges that will allow you to convert your Ether directly to fiat but because of low trading volume and demand that could be difficult to exchange. Convert to BTC and sell at localBitcoin

Cashing eth is just like cashing out bitcoin, convert eth into bitcoin first than cashit out. You can also use bitpanda like site where you can directly sell your eth for euro and than transfer it to your bank account via sepa.
