You are right; it can be exchanged for cash. Bitcoin is based on a fully unsuited technology for daily minor business (too slow, too high fee), and thus that cannot be the reason for the rise of its value.  Its value is rising because people believe that they can make money, nothing more. This is fine. It will crash someday, but I don’t think it’s before I reaches 25.000-50.000$, which will be in 2018.

My favorite bubble is the Dutch Tulip mania of late 1636-1637; this is bitcoin about 300 years later. It’s going to get it on, in 2018.

It's mainly because of its rising popularity. Demand increased as people invest and buy in. Also bitcoin doesn't have an infinite supply the more popular it gets, and the more people buying it, you can be sure that this isn't the end of bitcoin's rise. Yes, I agree. BItcoin price continue's Rising because no one control this. Bitcoin is rising by the help of many investors who are trying to break the overall record of this and through the help of other people too thats why it continues to rise that no one must control this. It rises because right now technology is too popular thats why it continue's to rise.

BTC performing excellent. You don't really want it to break the resistance (by much) as that would probably lead to a hefty correction. It is growing at the top end of the bullish channel and that is, IMHO, the best scenario.
