I would like to buy btc and I have paypal...

Seeing the other posts I understand that's not the preferred way so what are my other options?
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Being a noob,many trusted exchangers here may not want to take risk
The best option for you is to trade in small volume using a trusted escrow and longer hold time
Be cautious and don't get scammed
