Thanks, Connor

Also by the way while I'm here should I get a Gigabyte Radeon RX580 8gb or Gigabyte GTX 1060?

I hear Monero is good, Zcash is OK and there are hugely different opinions on NiceHash, but I think that it is kinda bad now even tho I used it before only made 15$ in a week or 2. GPUs are best bought in a local store because of the warranty as mining is really demanding, but if you can save 10% online go for it.

You might be mixing up difficulty and profitability. Those are not the same thing. Difficulty is usually not something you should worry about. Most profitable coins to mine with GPUs all have very high difficulties. And most of the coins with very low diff aren't worth mining at all, no matter what hardware you've got.

Also by the way while I'm here should I get a Gigabyte Radeon RX580 8gb or Gigabyte GTX 1060?
There's no right or wrong answer to this, it's the same as selecting between two different cars. One is better at some things, and the other is better at the others.

Well yes

Some Altcoins like Munroe, nice hash is relevantly easy to mine at the moment.I am planning to make a rig on the solar panel just because of this too.

Nice to see right after you say that the coin is on top of whattomine as most profitable. If you have been mining that for a few days then you got are probably making a nice little return right now.

With RX580 I think you should mine ETH, or low difficulty coin just go with ETN.
For your GTX 1060, check out some neoscrypt and lyra2rev2 coins, even you mined them without any profit now, but some of them may give you good profit in near future.

If your looking for lower difficulty coins look at newer ones like ETP (Ethash), Sumokoin (CryptoNight) and Trezarcoin (NeoScrypt).

They are all profitable right now so it's just a case of doing your research and deciding which coin you feel has the most future potential growth otherwise you are better sticking to the more established alts like Eth/ETC/Monero.

I switched all my AMD to Cryptonight -- I am mining ITNS (Intense). Return is very good.

What do you mean of low difficulty? Would you like to solomining? And how many GPUs do you plan to use? There are enough young coins that can be checked in the Altcoin Anouncement thread. But it's very difficult to find perspective one

It's still in the early phases. So I think it's a good time to mine it.

There should be a platform released in a few months here. So I'd bet the early birds will see a bit of gains.

Always doubt.

Try your luck with the new altcoins, there is always a rush at the beginning and if it becomes succusfull you might get a decent cut.

As for your second question, it depends on what you want to mine, the Nvidia cards are better with some altcoins while the AMD card is better with others, Nvidia cards are cheaper right now, but I personally would go with AMD, because their GPUs (the chip) are more complexe and have more functionalities baked in that doesn't get exploited right away and their brute computational power are higher so they tend to age much much better, it is called FineWine tehcnology .
