That's not even the name of the place, but why bother. In the cold war they had the SR-71 stationed there, of course its of limits, its a military base with classified stuff. You can learn about it online if you stick to the real stuff and ignore the myths.

They are probably still using it for testing experimental aircraft and weapons.

Exactly, such a common and sadly effective strategy the government uses. It's silly how much people care about one stupid thing just because it's "secret" while great crimes are being pulled right in front of our eyes. One sees only what one is willing to see.
