Already lost 50% of my capital

I also lost about 35% of the capital. Although the percentage is smaller than you, but there is a bad story behind the 35% loss I experienced.
March 2018 I still consistently hold all coins even though the Dip has lasted for 2 months, my total loss if I sell all my coins that is 65%. My emotions are already at the limit so I sell 50% of some altcoins I have and add them to priority coins like ETH and BTC and now my defeats are reduced from 65% to 35%.
Maybe you and all can try the way I do, the conditions must be prepared to accept all risks.

It would still depend then if the coin would be listed immediately, if the team would be active and follow the roadmap and if it is actively communicating to its investors. If there is a bounty campaign for that ICO then most likely the bounty participants would dump their coins upon listing and then you may have to wait for sometime for the price to go back to its ICO price. If you are already well-versed with the ICO market then there is a chance that you would be able to profit from it but if you are new to it and just depend on others then it is still case to case basis if you can profit or not. Besides that, ICO rating sites are not that dependable because some of them are paid.

I lost more than 70% of my capital before being a newbie in trading because I made most likely all the mistakes like panic buying, panic selling, joining pump and dumps, trading base on emotions and buying when the coin is already in high price because of the fear of missing out and end up losing more. I stop for a few months and get back up again because I know that there is still a way and I read more books and watch more videos about trading why others are successful and why I am not so for now, I have a trading plan that I strictly follow and hoping to be consistently profitable.

If you brave for cut loss then i suggest you to move to binance. Right now binance is being superior of others market. And you must know, coin that potentially like right nor waves and ten that have reached 20%. Of course there are still many coins that pump, good luck bro.

When you start entering in the crypto world you have to be brave and ready for the outcome don't lose hope just trust the crypto and try to invest in the market to recover your money lost and wait to increase the coin you bet then when you see it increase sell it. buy and hodl

Since 50 % of the amount is already lost of OP i would instead be going little cautious approach like investing currently in the already listed top altcoin along with btc. So that when markets starts the bull run he can recover money soon and then once he have some money than can start investing in ICO. Otherwise their is a possibility that if wrong ICO is picked up then further more money can be lost .

That will happen for alot of people if they actually don't take caution doing whatever in their tokens because without precautions you are more and likely to loose rather than gain.

well, you need to accept your loss and continue if you think that your knowledge is big enough. Never accept being a loser. There are always ways for us to recover what we have lost. 50% is not a big amount. I believe that he can earn even more in the future if he has a strong mind and will

Panic selling is not a good idea why? Because the market are in red blooded situation and losing 50% of your capital is a huge amount make sure you know the coin that you buy if this have a potential to grow all you can do if the market start to falling down is to wait dont do any wrong move that cause losing your money.

Panic selling is not a good idea why? Because the market are in red blooded situation and losing 50% of your capital is a huge amount make sure you know the coin that you buy if this have a potential to grow all you can do if the market start to falling down is to wait dont do any wrong move that cause losing your money.

I think panic selling may be detrimental to you, because you're doing it without a careful calculation, I know a lot of people are losing money because of the continuing weakening market situation, but that does not mean you have to sell and lose money? You have to hold and be sure the price will go up

I think it is too early for you to be hopeless about it. You aren't the only one who's having the same situation. I think you should just stay positive and just continue hodling because good things would still come soon. Don't lose hope because the market would still recover soon and you could still gain a good profit.

My advice is for you to pull out your money as early as you can and stop trading for a while. Since you obviously lack experience in trading what you can do best is try to study technical analysis which is one of the needed things in order for you to survive trading. Asking advice right now about what to buy and sell without you doing your own research might hurt you financially as these kind of advoce is often given with personal bias.
