Come on, someone can just post the opposite and it's their word against yours.

Just take a pic, remove the personal data (if any) and post it here. Otherwise there is a good chance you might get banned, honestly.
You can't post stuff like that without verification.

Generally I find you harmless (funny actually) and haven't ignored you, but since you are one of the most ignored people here, you should back your claims.

BTC = Black Swan.
BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.

Didn't you read the fine print on MtGox where it said that for successful withdrawals you need at least an IQ that is higher than your age in years?

Bitcoin = Gold on steroids

Sounds like you are talking straight up bullshit.

I have no doubt that EUR withdrawals are either delayed or suspended.  And I also expect the reasons could be unsettling.

But Mt. Gox offering to give you bitcoins in lieu of Euros is just 100% out of character for them.  They would have gone down their Rolodex of canned responses (Delay at the bank, processing as quickly as possible, we are so successful that the queues are so long etc..etc...).  "We'll give you some bitcoins instead of Euros" is simply not among those canned responses.

If your claimed conversation happened at all, I can imagine is probably went down more like this:

Troll: Has my EUR withdrawal been processed yet?

Canned Responder: It's currently in the queue to be processed

Troll: When will it be processed?

Canned Responder: As quickly as possible

Troll: Can I cancel the withdrawal?

Canned Responder: Yes

Troll: Can I buy Bitcoins and withdraw them?

Canned Responder: Yes

Troll: *starts foaming at the mouth and breaks into an incoherent rant* So your telling me I can have bitcoins, but I can't have Euros!!!

Canned Responder: My circuits don't compute, have a nice day

** Troll takes to the message boards to continue his ranting **

this is indeed very worrysome about MtGox.

I have the same issue. EUR withrawals dont get processed since 7 days at all.

Didn't they say that EUR withdrawals are unaffected?

Obvious lies. There is no reason for mtgox to want to give you btc instead of euro. As long as you can't withdraw the euros they are only numbers on their system that can be traded for bitcoins, there is no need to force you to have bitcoins, the reality is that's all you can spend the euros on anyway.
