I'll give you .05 for it bud
I'll offer 0.075 BTC for it.
On a sidenote, why on earth did you redeem such a beautiful, and rare coin?
Makes me sad seeing something like this destroyed. You have lost out on at least $50,000 (this isn't a typo.. ) by peeling off that hologram - these coins frequently sell for 15-16 BTC. Now that it has been redeemed, that entire premium is gone.
Best of luck with your sale.
While true and sad, believe me when I say Cas and I had many conversations about these coins and I truely appreciated the beauty of this coin, hindsight is 20/20...
I've was in this game for a long time, I've seen 1
BTC = $0.30USD. When it hit $50, it was crazy. When it hit $150, people were going nuts... Could you have even known it would get to 10k+? Especially if you watched some 50% swings go down?
I did cash this coin out, but I hung on to it as a souvenir to remember all the great times I had in the BTC community and fun I had engineering mining rigs from CPU to GPU and FPGA/ASIC
I had my fun, and I will never look back and ponder on what could have been
Great story there man
You most certainly have been involved for a long time, and you have seen a lot more of the early days than I ever did.
When did you cash this coin out? If it was recently, then you really should have checked the forum here. There are plenty of people who would have paid you 14, 15 or even 16 BTC for that coin in an unredeemed, mint state. In fact, I have a customer looking for one right now. Sadly they would have wanted it still loaded. As I said in my last comment, you lost out on 5 BTC just for peeling that. Which is a staggering amount. Did you remember to cash out the BCH and BTG that are on the coin? (if this was recent. If not, ignore that).
All in all, at this point, the best thing for you to do is auction this coin for 3-5 days. Start it @ a small number and then let the market decide the price. My offer of 0.075 BTC (currently $760 in BTC) stands should you want to accept that - but, in full disclosure, I suspect you might get a little more putting it up for auction. GL
