LOL buy you are very right mate. This doesn't make sense at all. how people are paying a lot of the money just for vistual cats with no purpose rather than buy the real cat. This just like they are betting on the next cat that they will earn from hatch the egg.

It's really quite fun to collect and breed kittens and profitable too! You can breed kitties then sell them on the kitty marketplace. I've bought some 4 kittens with 0.04 and now i have 0.08 and have 12 kittens already breeding. Just waiting for them to be born. Lol

It is really awesome! The gameplay is simple - you can sell, buy and multiply kitties. All these kitties have a set of genes and when reproducing, as in the real world, this or that cat can appear. According to Eth Gas Station, for the last 1500 blocks, Cryptokitties players made more than 11% of all ETH transactions.

And this what makes the Ethereum transaction congested for now, right? A lot of people are now buying and selling kitties and it's an awesome project since it goes mainstream. Though I am not into this kitty thing but I am curious about it since I just read some topics and hype about this project this day. Is it an investment platform? I mean the cryptokitty. Anyways, hope to see more Dapps in the future.

It's weird because i can't see a benefit of buying cat like this, at least on other game you can buy weapon to make your character stronger. I came across this game because i saw so many crypto kitties in the pending tx and finally i know why the network is congested and my transaction took so long to get confirmed.

The fact is that because of this game the entire network is overloaded, it is simply impossible to trade! One transaction lasts 9 hours already! I think that the network is not yet ready for such loads! It's my opinion!

I do have heard of this coin just recently and I wanted to join the fun too by getting myself some kitties but I think their is a problem with Ethereums blockchain because there are a lot of people complaining about their transactions that's taking some time and took a couple of hours for them to receive their Eth too. Might join or try this out once they've resolve the issue with Ethereum being decongested.

this game is not made for me. eth games don't take my interest but i m concerned when more games will be developed and eth blockchain would be slower than now. i can't trade correctly with eth blockchain currently. and what will happen with eth price when games will run on eth blockchain.

Having the same experience as you. ETH trading is slower. There are much faster altcoins out there, but hopefully in a few years the major cryptos will have their stuff figured out as far as LN or whatever.

i think there will be more ganme based on blockchain, and this game just show us how weak of ethereum, it must make some improvement, otherwise, eos may truely replace eth in the near future
