IOTA - right time to invest or wait?

As we can see, IOTA is going up crazy atm while I'm still waiting for my Bitfinex verification it was going up for around 300% which annoys me a lot. Now I'm not sure anymore whether it's the right time to invest as there might be a correction coming soon after such a big rise in the last month.

What do you guys think?

It's the right time to wait. The technicians invested in IOTA after breaking through the downtrend above 0.45. And those who believed in IOTA bought 0.36. IOTA can grow more, but at this level there is a big risk. IOTA now must go to the correction.

IOTA is a very cool coin, and its project is interesting to millions. That is why it is time to get these alt — suppose very soon IOTA will start its rapid running and will cost at least twice more than now.

It's a great project, but it has risen 5x in less than a month. For a coin with such a big market capitalization, I expect a decent correction over the next few weeks to under 2$ for sure. So I am currently waiting.

Yeah, IOTA was one of the projects I sidelined in my quest to diversify into altcoins in June to September. Partly glad I did, since I experienced heavy losses in all my alt holdings, but then partly regretting it because I would have now loved to have this in my portfolio. It is definitely still in my list of new coins to add to my 2018 buys, depending on how Bitcoin will continue to perform, but the IoT tech are coming up hard, along with supercomputers. So yes, get into it now if you want a long term buy. Wait, if just looking for profits. Corrections incoming.

I was lucky and invested in IOTA when it cost 70 cents. Now it crazily grows every day, but I am not planning to sell it any time soon. I think IOTA has the potential to grow up to $100 or so in a few years. The project is truly amazing.
That's why I would say that if you also believe in the project long-term then $2.5 is a very good price. Yet if you look at it rationally then I don't think IOTA improved as much as the price grew. I guess the correction is likely to come anyway, so maybe for now it would be better to wait.

All top 10 coins are down today, except for IOTA? (Looking at coinmarketcap.com at the moment) I don't think so. Everybody is noticing the big growth of IOTA and are now learning about IOTA and how the Tangle works. Everyone is getting to know the benefits of the Tangle over Blockchain and dumping their Blockchain based crypto to Buy IOTA. Those people are also probably now asking themselves why they didn't see the potential of IOTA before

IOTA's reliance on centralised checkpointing prevents it from living up to the hype that it has built up around itself.

At some point it might become more useful, but for now I would say that Byteball would be a better investment since it has less wild promises, a functioning crypto and a significantly lower market cap.

This is not good time to buy IOTA at all, it has already surged a lot at this movement and its gonna drop very hard in next few hours to one day period. This is clearly a artificial pump or may be natural but temporary pump. This will never keep the IOTA at this high rates because it doesn't have that much potential currently. Wondering how it got that much rates anyway and as per my experience a coin can go that high in such short period of time only if the pump is being dump on its market.

Clearly, when all the other currencies are down at the movement, the IOTA is getting hiked seems to me literally unethical here. Those who had invested back in 30-40 cents/IOTA period are lucky enough to see this much hike and they might be just very rich buy now. Lolz.

This is of course not good time to buy iota. Its pumped as hell after partner news and bittrex situation. Its better to wait for it to do somekinda bottom and hold for at least 3 years

I'll second what other's are saying - the kind of growth that IOTA has had over the last bit is unsustainable and it will have to undergo a correction. Be patient and profit.

The price is skyrocketing at the moment. Unfortunately, i have as sold my Miotas for .00016 btc only. I missed the train. It's very interesting project to invest. Tangle is very interesting. Aside from that, transactions are free. The dev team is very active and have partnered with many huge companies like Bosch and other luxurious car companies. Look out for the next event nexy year. I think they are now going to add smart contracts soon. I am now waiting for this one to undergo on correction so i could buy some of it.

IOTA is not going to stop any time soon. But on similar tech you have BYTEBALL, a crypto with no blockchains too. The volume is still low and you can have a quick profit if you jump in it IMO
