Let's say I got an airdrop worth some $$, but don't have any Eth or BTC...

So let's say I have some airdrop, let's take SGR for example and it is in my MEW wallet. Let's say that I have over $100 USD worth of SGR based on coinmarketcap numbers and I want to convert it to btc or ethereum. I do not have any btc or ethereum anywhere.

I just read about the gas issue and I think my coins may be stuck in MEW?
Even if I try to pull some coins out of Coinpot and transfer them to Faucethub or something I don't think I would have enough to cover all the transactions. I have only like 250k satoshi in Coinpot.

What should I do?
Any recommendations or advice?
