I hold some different cheap coins now in coins markets exchange just worth of 0.02btc in total.
Should i sell it now or just hold since bitcoin now continuously moving up.
Which better I do.
depends on which altcoins you are holding.If your altcoins devs are good and their roadmap is good then you can hold it for long term.before selling or buying make a research and do what do you want. Yes. No one can really tell the future of an altcoin right now as a lot of them are dead already. Still, what you said is simply right. The best is to be sure that what one is holding is a coin that would really make some great bounce in the future and that is where the OP would really want to keep his investments right now. ETH was $8 at the beginning of this year, imagine holding some of it. That is where the OP should start from. If you know the Altcoin you are holding is not a coin you can really trust, then you can sell. However, some of the altcoins are going to have some pretty good bounce later on, so I will advise you to hold any coin you are sure have some prospects rather than being too fast to sell them. The ones that apparently may be useless, you can look for an undervalued coin right now and get into it. |

It depends on you, almost all the altcoins are being very pumped right now, Verge was one of the most undervalued altcoins from the market and it suddenly made more than x12 in just three days.
The same applies to dogecoin.. it was less than $0.001 and now it is upto $0.006, i would hold if i was on your shoes.

The same applies to dogecoin.. it was less than $0.001 and now it is upto $0.006, i would hold if i was on your shoes.
If you are closely watching altcoin markets, its very evident that every coin in the top 10 is being pumped one after another. It clearly shows that altcoins are purely all pump-and-dump system. It's real funny to see them being pump and if you are into the market for long time, you should have made lots of profits already. They are not really good for long term investment. If I were the OP, I should have sell my altcoins at top price and wait for few days to re-invest it to the next altcoin that will be pump. I already profited from 2 such pump already to be honest. But when I see that Bitcoin Cash is the next one to be pump, I decided not to join and ride the waves. I don't like that people behind it plus I'm ok with the profits that I already made from Ethereum and Litecoin. I'm still wating though for one coin that is not yet pump. Common sense will tell you what coins I'm talking about. So my strategy is just buy them when they are still cheap, hold for several days or weeks and when the coins is pump, I get out, re-invest to another coins which I think will be the next coin that pumpers will choose. Rinse and Repeat. |

what coins are you hodling? If they are top 20 biggest coins in the market, you should hold and wait until they go up in the future. If not, you can sell them now to get profit.

The best thing you can do is toss your altcoins around if you are already in profit and just buy bitcoins whenever it is on a bad shape. That's the most efficient thing you can do to profit even little by little. You might not get rich quickly by that but still, any profit is a profit no matter how small it is. Check the altcoin section to see what's the hottest coin around and maybe you can buy a couple of those and try selling a bit high then buy back in bitcoin whenever you're in profit.

If the price of the coins he is holding is rising now then maybe he should consider selling especially now that the price of eth is also high too. This is a good opportunity to earn profit especially if you have been holding those coins for so long. |

At this moment I am holding ETN and ONION and probably will not invest into any other for the moment. ETN went down after the official release but it is stable at the moment.

I think if something has taught us the enormous volatility that characterizes this market is that we should not get too attached to the possession of any currency, because in the same way that today can rise in a considerable way, tomorrow can collapse taking all our illusions. If the altcoins that you have held for long have already generated enough income, sell them, enjoy your profits and return to the market to buy others.

Identify first the coins you bought. If the coin is not shitcoin, you may hold that. There are many shitcoins out there. I much suggested to hold coin with big project in the future, because that will boom in the future. Just wait it. |

Depend on the fundamental of the altcoin, if you now have some altcoin that has good in fundamental like POWR, DASH, LTC, ETH you can hold it, but if you have just pump dump coin for the better sell it because the price of BTC strong bullish and that coin hard to going up.

I would sell now, based from what I am seeing. I am currently holding on DOGE and made a good profit from it when it pumped, but when bitcoins get traction again, likely all alts will die again and bitcoins come back up as the only thing people want. Right now a lot of alts took advantage of the correction of bitcoins, but now bitcoins has already corrected and it is cheap to buy bitcoins right now. Likely even my DOGE will dump and so I'll be dumping it right now at 45 sats each.

Better sell the other coins that are you think it is the right time to sell it, then transfer it to btc and hold. Then hold some of your alts that has volume and potential in the future. |

Better sell the other coins that are you think it is the right time to sell it, then transfer it to btc and hold. Then hold some of your alts that has volume and potential in the future. But i think that it is depending on the base of the altcoin which you have chosen and invested your money there. If you can see that people still interested in the altcoin and it has still good potential, then you should wait for some time and hold your altcoin. But if think that there is any other place by investing and from where you can comparatively get more profit then you should sell out and should invest your money there. Very honestly in present time bitcoin is the best place to invest your money because its price is still increasing and in future we can hope that its price will reach to 30000$ very soon. |

The holiday season caused BTC to go down. Compare the value of altoins you are considering and if their price (BTC price, not $ price) goes down it could mean they are too much depending on the value of BTC and will never take off. If, on the other hand, the value of an altcoin is steady or even going up that means it is not too dependent on BTC and you should put it on your shortlist.

It depends on what altcoins you are holding if it is ethereum or ripple just hold it for a while for a year actually because there are predictions that they will pump a lot more in the next year 2018 and you do no want to miss that. But if it is just a regualr altcoins sell it before the value falls because we all know that there are altcoins that do not rise back again after a fall so for you to secured the money yhe profits then sell it. |

Don't sell just hold. Bitcoin has started to dip, altcoins are attracting attention to investors. For those altcoins that you have made good profit, you can sell some.

if you hold altcoin cheap, but have good prospects forward, that means dev says that altcoin will go up, and wait a few months. then you should wait until you get profit 0.002 BTC.
i always update the information from dev when i get altcoin.

Depending on your current strategy what is your plan to your coins. If you are already in profit then it is better to sell your coins because when bitcoin is making a rapid move, altcoins will make a downward movement. It is better to secure profit and then buy it lower so that when it goes up you will have a bigger profit. Always have a stop loss though so that you still have a risk management.
