Hi, just now read an article in which it is said that a gang of five turkish men kidnapped a businessmen and forced him to transfer his 450 bitcoins to their account by holding him at gunpoint.He was left eight hours later.After his compliant,the police succeeded in arresting them when the gang were targeting another person to kidnap.Turkish cyber crime officials were tracing the stolen funds trail on the blockchain.but still don't know whether it has been recovered or not.

It was said that the victim has been targeted for showing off his wealth.He showed off an extravagant lifestyle on social media.So,dear crypto currency enthusiasts,don't show off your wealth any time any where.

The gang followed the businessman to his car posing as police, before kidnapping him and extorting him out of his coins and online banking account passwords, while holding him at gunpoint and threatening him inside a van. The ordeal reportedly lasted eight hours before the victim was finally let go.

This should be one lesson on how your wallet password is secure till the moment they stop trying to hack it and bring the crowbar in the discussion. And the worse part:

to be honest the story doesn't make much sense to me!
the article calls the victim a "businessman" but the in the story he seems like someone who got rich yesterday!
these types of robbery usually happens to someone who has become rich yesterday and now doesn't know what to do with his money. otherwise a "businessman" knows the security measures when traveling.

in any case, look how popular bitcoin is getting that it even has thieves. and they say bitcoin is a bubble!

You must not brag about your wealth in social media at any forms of money whether it's a Bitcoin or a FIAT money, I am not tolerating the kidnappers though but it is the victim's fault in showing off of his lifestyle in social media by his Bitcoins, it's just like he's provoking the criminals to do something bad and that's why he has been targeted by this extortionists, good thing that he is alive and well after he gives up his Bitcoins.
