I don't see a reason why this wouldn't be possible. Crypto is growing every day, just a few months ago Bitcoin was $1-2k.

I don't think it will, hopefully I am wrong.  I think we will see a pretty hard correction in the coming month or a couple months down the road.  Then I think it will be around 4k at this time next year, but it will jump up again later down the road

If the price continue to grow up this fast as now everything is possible, even more than 20000$. Today at one moment the price crossed the 11000$, who could expect that to happen so quickly. Now everyone is scared of big price dump and I agree that the price can't just rise forever but let's just enjoy this while it last but at the same time be prepared for changes and ready to react.

Hold your bitcoins it may reach $15000 or even more in 2018 but I think holding little amount of satoshi wouldn't make you any profit. I would recommend to invest your money into altcoins to quickly double it. Bitcoin is profitable but it will take longer to double your money than altcoins.

I am personally think that it will hit the milestone of 20k marks in somewhere around 2018.well if you see the graph of btc price for the last couple of month, I think it told everything.so unless some big issue happen with btc then i don't think that 20k mark is impossible to achieve.

Everything is possible. Just like Bitcoin was $6000 a few months ago and now it has almost doubled its price. Almost beyond unbelievable.

Its already almost down 2000 dollars in less than an hour....I think we are starting to see the correction, pretty much all coins in the last hour or 2 have been crashing pretty darn hard.

If we hit 4k again by this time next year that won't be a correction but a very big bear market and period. A correction would be 7/8k maybe at the lowest. It could happen but actually I think 20k is much more likely.

Nothing is impossible with  Bitcoin. It likely to hit $20K but definitely not this year. It may happen by middle of next year. If Russia finally adopts and legalize BTC as being rumored then $20K will be a reality.

It would be the same percent correction that happened when it went from1200->200 back in the day.  Its already down to 9k again, so 7/8k is not really a correction...

I think that the price can move a bit more than just 20000 dollars during 2018 if optimism of the community together with new people entering bitcoin ecosystem come together again. Another growth is very healthy for the bitcoin ecosystem and together with more support from all of the community , we all have to spread the word, the price of 20.000 dollars for a bitcoin during 2018 can be very much accessible.

Bitcoin to reach 20k USD in 2018 is very possible. We are already halfway there and a year is more than enough to see Bitcoin's value to increase at least twice. Perhaps Bitcoin could even reach the 30K dollar mark within 2018. That is also possible. I am not saying that it is possible because there are a lot of possibility in the future but I am telling that it is possible because of Bitcoin's history. Let's just take a look at Bitcoin's history this year. We started the year 2017 at the price of almost 1k USD, then it reached an ATH of 11k+ USD, so if we start at 10k in 2018, then 20k,30k, and 50k is highly possible.

Up to you whether to hodl or not because that is investing and you gotta decide whether you want to be in BTC (grow less but more stable) or go more aggressive but risk the chance of ruining yourself. As to the 20k BTC in 2018 I don't see why not it couldn't happen. It is barely over a 100% increase and that to me seems easily feasible given how many hard forks and how much institutional money is coming to flow in soon.

What happened is 2017 causes every one to agree with high probability of 20000 dollar in 2018. Bitcoin price rose nearly 10 times in 2017. So 2x price rise in 2018 is not something strange to happen.

That's really high price for bitcoin but everything in bitcoin could be possible since day by day more people are interested in bitcoin and even here in my country there are shops and restaurant are accepting bitcoin as payment that i was so happy that more people right now knows about bitcoin ..
So the price can be increase more we already seen the movement of the price this year and i think it can be burst increase more this following year..

Have also seen in crypto newspaper that and there is someone who thinks BTC up to 20K$,before 2018 then BTC price go up to right at 20K$ well could happen.By the way it's some of the people working in my place  this approach looks legible one day BTC up 100$ to more.

i think it kinda depends on how this current bubble is digested. it could get ugly, get sideways or it could be a pause on the way to something higher.

as it went from 10 grand to 11.5 in a few hours, anything is possible.

Seeing the impressive volatility of bitcoin and the massive influx of new capital trying to speculate and make quick money with bitcoin, it would not be strange that even in the next few weeks, maybe in January, the $20,000 barrier falls for the first time, and even a price as high as $ 40K or 50K can be seen by the end of the year, as some businessmen have predicted.

And this is not because the bitcoin has such an intrinsic value, but money has taken over the soul of bitcoin and now can move it at will.
