Wow you are such a fucking idiot.  I wasn't saying I was selling a chip moron.    I was giving a heads up that a new 65nm is coming out.   Secondly, if you even knew much about the Asic game you would know that 65nm is smaller than the current Avalon chips.  Try paying attention to details.

I'm pretty sure that the big question is why you would 'announce' something 1-3 hours before you are willing to release the news. I guess I just don't get it. Announcements are usually for development and discussion. IF there is a company selling STOCKED 65 NM asic and is not a scam, I really don't see why they would need any more PR than that. They would sell out in a few days anyway if it is legit and not wildly overpriced.

I work in the IC industry and 2-3 big companies just ordered 1million + asics for bitcoin mining.

And are these companies releasing the news themselves? Are they aiming at consumers? What's the idea here? I think the most interesting part here would be IF major electronics companies REALLY got into bitcoin ASIC. I would short-sell ASICMINER so hard my ass would eat itself.

If they are major companies, and you have the info. It shouldn't be too hard to just post company info etc. Why pre-announce?

Just been having a look at your posting history.  For someone that is in the IC business, why would you be asking on this very forum how much it costs to manufacture ASICs?

I'm smelling something pretty odd here myself. Though in all fairness he could be in some non-ASIC adjacent part of the IC industry like purchasing or circuit specific 'something'. Still curious as to the pre-announcement of an announcement of something he is not directly involved in..

I am fairly new to the IC business.  To produce and design an asic costs tens of thousands to several Million USD.  Even with that said, people who have been in the business for 20+ years still have limited knowledge as they typically are specialized for only certain products, packaging, engineering, etc.  Its best to ask others questions and share information.

Lets not get off topic as well.  I am willing to have a moderator verify that my information is legit and that I am not lying.  I am not willing to publicly disclose all of the information until I get the green light.

Purpose of this thread is to let you guys know a massive volume  of 65nm asics, new asics are coming.  I can update more once management says its ok.

Yes, that would be a worthy thread.  Maybe it would be a good idea to delete this butt cheeks Thread, and start a new one when your allowed to post something.
