Pretty much.
They were still active on twitter as of last week, but I suspect it was the last we will be hearing from them.
ETM Ethereum Metal offered an airdrop via Stocks.Exchange a few weeks back which was honoured, and yes I took part in it, I spent $70.00 on a long shot. I suspect this was a final money grabber to encourage people to buy for a benefit while the dev planned a big dumbing as it went from what I recall being 400sats down to 1 sats within 3 weeks.
Even though I have a bit of experience now, I guess there is always that side of us that is prepared to spend a few dollars on a long shot.
I am still learning of course, and I already have a check system in place for the lower valued coins with long shot potential and that have done very well from already, but today as i look at Ethereum Metal ETM, I really should have seen this one coming.
I probably shouldn’t waste the time of day on this, but for what it’s worth the big fails are:
• The core vision “promote and increase the adoption of cryptocurrency”
• Twitter never tweets of the advances they are making, just about the promo or retweeting of articles.
• No Team.
• 1 low end exchange listing.
• No Bitcointalk thread from website
• No Wallet
• Clunky website
If this were to take off, Ethereum Metal ETM would need to show:
• A real vision, potential working product or something to achieve.
• Team
• New Roadmap
• Another exchange
• Better Social Interaction
Of course if I am proved wrong, or if I see some developments I will remove this post or edit a reflective update at the time.
For now though, I call this one a scam out. I don’t want anyone to spend a cent on this one. As my small $70.00 investment could have been spent on much better coins.
