transaction went wrong no bitcoin recieved please help

Hello,

My name is Erwin, i'm really new to bitcoin.
I'm trading bitcoin with kraken and tough it was safer to make a wallet.

So i downloaded the Bitcoin Armory, made a wallet and send from Kraken to the copied adres.
Now that went well, but i never got it in my wallet. It's only telling me when load up the program "Amory failed to spawn DB!" Continue offline mode.
 
Kraken support tells me its vallet in the blockchain so they cannot do anything.
i need to dump it with my private key or something.
But how can i now get my bitcoins back to either kraken or my wallet ?

Hope someone can give help/info for me to get this going again.

You also have to download Bitcoin Core and let it fully sync. That's ~180 GB of data, by the way.

Its finally downloaded i set in Bitcoin Armory install dir and homedir of Bitcoin.

But Wallet still say nothing in it

Let Core fully sync and then start up Armory and let it sync. You may have to turn off auto-management of Core, but otherwise, you should be good to go if all goes well.

Is Core fully synced? Does Armory show the correct number of blocks in the lower-right corner (~498,000 blocks as of right now)? Are you running Armory 0.96.4 RC1 and Core 0.15.1?

That version of Armory is pretty old, and does not work with the latest Bitcoin Core (0.15.1).  You need the release candidate, see the first post in the sticky thread called "0.96.4 RC 1"  (the actual version number is 0.93.3.99 or something like that).

I have exactly the same problem and I did install the most recent version. My money is clearly in the address but armory will not recognize it even though bitcoin core is fully functional, and armory is both online and properly noded.

You don't appear to be running Core. If you are, make sure the auto-manage feature is turned off in Armory. Also, make sure Core is fully synced before trying to use Armory, and that Armory is 0.96.4 RC1.

But now Armory wont boot anymore.

Can i delete this install, and reinstall it ?

That said, for some reason, Armory is failing to start bitcoind. Turn off auto-management and run it manually.

Sorry for the late reply but i was feeling sick a few days.

Armory wont boot anymore keeps hanging on loading.

Should i remove it from pc and restore it with paper backup ?
